A bit simplistic but the world building has been great and the art is amazing

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bref… prenez mon argent. ENG -> Honestly, I was really surprised by how much lore this game has. I expected a cozy game where you simply serve customers and chat with them, but there's so much more beneath the surface. As you progress, you gradually uncover a rich fantasy world filled with lovable characters, mysteries, and stories that genuinely make you want to learn more. As a big fan of games like *Coffee Talk*, I immediately found everything I love: taking the time to listen to each character, discovering their stories, and enjoying a warm, relaxing atmosphere. However, the fantasy setting gives this game its own unique identity and helps it stand out. The dialogue is enjoyable to read, the characters are memorable, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly cozy. It's exactly the kind of game I'd recommend unwinding with at the end of a long day, preferably with a nice cup of tea. If you enjoy narrative-driven games, fantasy worlds, and cozy experiences where every conversation matters, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. In short... take my money.
Tavern Talk is a game that I would mostly describe as not for me. The drink mixing gameplay barely exists, creating quests is just linear script with some interaction slapped on top. This leaves us with plot and characters to carry the game. For the first half of the game I found myself uninterested, while the characters were charming and fun the game felt too... fluffy. Nothing felt like it had real stakes and I was disappointed. But then towards the end of Act 2 and during Act 3 it really picked up and the idea of being an Innkeeper a DnD style fantasy world really started feeling realised as well as it could, finally making it a somewhat decent experience in the end.
All in all it's a beautiful, story-driven cozy game to come have some fun times in at the end of the day. The characters are all unique and inspiring, seeing relationships unfold is rewarding, and the branching story outcomes make for some decent replayability. There are times when tedium can set in, but if you're patient and are willing to just go do something else for a while and take the game in bite-sized chunks, it's quite lovely. Towards the end of the game, tensions are quite high and the Innkeeper takes some (not strictly undeserved) heat. While they are not owed an apology by any stretch, you aren't ever offered one for any of the hurtful (and occasionally ignorant) words thrown your way, which can sting a little bit. Just something of note. But all of the relationships are about growth, learning, and healing. Even though it may put a sour taste in your mouth at first, both retrospection and introspection on the game will soothe that feeling. There's a lot of emotional punch when it comes to the twist at the end of the game and I'm still not wholly over it, haha. A lovely game that I vastly enjoyed my time with.
ive been enjoying the story so far, but im recommending simply on the disability representation. as someone who has recently become disabled themselves, it makes me emotional how loud AND how subtle their disability rep is. minthie's design in particular was so special to me.
So first of all, this game is SO charming. I haven't played many games like it before, but it absolutely sucked me in with the beautiful queers, the art and the setting. Secondly, every single reviewer that has complained about the fact that you don't leave the inn has COMPLETELY missed the point. Of course you don't leave your inn and go off on adventures; you're the innkeeper, not an adventurer. That's the whole point. Not everyone is a fearless hero gallavanting around saving the world. Tavern Talks gives a great insight into how it would be to be an "NPC" in a world of adventurers, where you must trust that the heroes will show up when needed. and they'll save the day from the various apocalypses that tend to threaten fantasy worlds. The only criticism I have is that sometimes when choosing dialogue I felt like I was having to guess, because I hadn't been given as much context I would have liked. For those that want an adventuring high fantasy game where you go off questing, this is not for you. For those that want a cosy game about personal growth, the power of friendship and love and grief and regret, this is it. 10/10 will play again
