Tested on WMR , works perfectly. Its like beat saber but with less room requirment , Thou its a bit more hard on newbi level songs are good , more songs will be added via DLC which will be NOT FREE. which is bad. Graphics are simple but will do the job and i think thats enough , need some work thou Anyway recommended

Game play is simple. Notes will be approaching you following lines. When they reach you, you have to touch them. There are 4 different kinds, normal notes that you just have to touch, slides that you have to touch first and then follow them, mini notes that just need to hit your hand. There are also cymbal notes that you need to press corresponding trigger when the orange circle reaches the target. The game is combo based, the higher combo you have the higher score multiplier will be used. There are 3 difficulties - Basic, Pro and Legend. There is not much interesting going on in the higher difficulty charts (just more density). Nothing challenging either. Game play itself is ok. The timing windows are huge. Practically you'll hit all Perfect+ and random misses. The different kind of notes don't seem to make much difference because pretty much all you need to do is touch them. The cymbals add a little complexity to the game but they are not used that much in order to show the real potential. If you've played TapSonic or DJ MAX you'll know the songs. Song list is good for a free game or rather I can't complain about it (I'd expect Tok! Tok! Tok! to be in there though). You get 11 songs that can be completed in an hour and half (all difficulties). The game probably ended its development very soon or did not even start it. It is playable though and if you like the songs you might have fun playing this game for a little while. Unfortunately you need to keep your head in a rather limited area which makes dancing around a bit difficult. The notes are also a bit difficult to hit because it's not clear where they actually are. This can get frustrating for the player. It saddens me but I have to give this game from Neowiz a thumbs down.
TapSonic World Champion VR is an Early Access Free to play VR rhythm game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded good. Has a variety of music to play through, 11 songs i saw. Has world leaderboard. Try this, if you like rhythm games.

Two years in Early Access, it's pretty dead at this point. The biggest update they added was a blockchain miner DLC for no clear reason. The track list is pretty weak, and the gameplay is just another punch-blocks rhythm VR game. The background effects make it harder to determine depth and positioning of blocks, and the shiny particle fists just add visual noise. It still feels like the mobile game it is based on, in the worst ways.
I GENUINELY had a lot of fun with this game! I went through and downloaded a few of the free games available for VR since I recently set up my Vive again, and a lot of those got deleted after 20 minutes! This didn't! It's very fun, and very responsive! I got through all of the easy levels in one sitting, but couldn't exactly figure out how to unlock the next tier of difficulties. My only criticisms of the game are that the menu and progression system isn't explained super well, and there isn't much of a musical library, but what is there, is super fun! Since this is free, there really is NO reason NOT to try this out!

Absolutely amazing. How did i not know this was there until now? The good: - its free, what do you have to lose? - its super fun and (depending on skill level) quite challenging - it feels smooth to play and you really get into the "groove" - has 3 difficulty levels per song The not-so-good: - The amount of songs are limited. It has taken me about 3 hours to play all songs on all difficulties (hopefully more coming) - Multiplayer is scoreboard only. Hopefully something that will be implemented in the future - You may possibly have small timing issues. You can adjust timing 200ms +/- to fix it, but there is no calibration. You will have to figure your timing out yourself. Bottom line: A very VERY promising title, which when fleshed out with more songs, multiplayer and other functionality, would be well worth good hard cash on the store.
