In Tank Wars: Anniversary Edition, a player has to control a (stationary) artillery tank in order to take down opponents with ballistic shots from a selection of different weapons. We paired old school, pixelated, low-resolution 2D graphics with some modern-ish concepts and effects.

This game makes a lot of fun whether you play it on your own or with friends!!!
This game is awesome! It has tanks, bombs, NUCLEAR BOMBS and even more awesome weapons! It has never been more fun to blast your friends to oblivion! And did you ever load a NUCLEAR BOMB, and shoot it with maximum power straight into the air when the wind is 999 to see what happens? Best roulette I've ever played...
I played the old DOS Tank Wars and this hits a lot of the nostalgia points for me! Multiple players? Yes. Variety of computer opponents? Yes. Buy crazy weapons between rounds? Yep. I've only played on Steam Deck and it runs flawlessly. The developer has a control scheme set up that works great by default.
The game has a lot of potential but has some bugs. One such is if the walls are on reflective and get hit with an upward angle, there is a boost to the velocity which results in it going up infinitely which breaks the game. There should be a setting for original tank health, they are too strong, and the surrender flag only works once. If these issues were fixed it would be really cool because otherwise I really enjoyed this game as a kid and would love to keep playing it.
Keeps kicking people out when they try to join. I could only play 1 game with 1 person, once.
This game rocks. A version of this game was one of the first pc games I ever played, and it was wildly addictive. This version is even better than the original. Highly recommend if you enjoyed it back in the day..
nostalgic fun
I like this game even in single player mode. Some weapons are so fun to use. Some of them are irritating like that earthquake and glue bomb.
Not fun, missing things older games had, and doesn't really innovate on the prior games.
good i got the hardest achivement that 0.1% players have its so fun!!! it reminds me of the og tank wars
