good game. is funny for kids. played on a amd rx 580 card.
The game has potentials but is ruined by poor design choices. The shooting mechanic is awful, and the tone of the game is somewhat a mismatch.
very cute but the game is meh. tried playing this game but i just bring myself to play it. its just dull.
they gave the hedgehog an ainus
If you wanted a spiritual successor to Jet Force Gemini, this isn't it. It wants to be, you can see it in the screenshots... but it wants to be something else. It wants to be Banjo-Kazooie and Jet Force Gemini. And it falls short in both. Every game has a certain feeling to it. A certain tone. When you play Jet Force Gemini, the music gets you excited. You watch a cutscene that was awesome for the time. And then the ants come out and you blast em! And the sound effects! Fun! The game only accelerates from there. So you start Tamarin. A cutscene plays, you see the ants from JFG and you go "Oh yeah, I've missed this." You get a blaster and you start blastin. Ok, this is fun. But... the music isn't so exciting. But gameplay is familiar to JFG, ok ok. You shoot a few more bugs, find some birds and golden bugs, and then you get the machine gun. Ok, I wanna use this! Then... suddenly, you're in a platforming area. No guns. And this is what kills the game. The platforming isn't fun because it's not challenging. And you can't shoot anything. Your only attack is a ground pound. What? And the music just isn't getting me excited. The tone of this game... it does not feel like JFG or Banjo at all. It feels like... polished Early Access 3D platformer. You know the feeling. A good game is somewhere in this, but it's not quite there yet. I actually left the area and went back to get my guns from the mole guy. I got my guns... but I can't actually go back to the gun area. What? And I stopped playing at that point. Cube World made this mistake. You don't give me the Kokiri Sword and then take it away. That's the kiss of death for your game.
If Conker's Bad Fur Day + Jet Force Gemini had a baby, but unpolished.
Bastante regulero.
