TaleSpire - Guest Edition lets you join, build, and play any TaleSpire campaign where the party has seats available. Has an ally of yours bought you a seat at the table? This is how you join them.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

About

Guest Edition lets you join, build, and play any TaleSpire campaign where the party has an extra "seat" at the table.
Typically, to play TaleSpire, you need to own the full game. Seats are an alternative to that. Any TaleSpire owner can choose to purchase seats for guests (like yourself) to use. The seats are what allow folks using Guest Edition to join the campaign without needing the full version of TaleSpire.
Here's how it works:
You download "Talespire - Guest Edition."
The GM invites you to a campaign.
So long as one party member has a "Seat" available, you will immediately be brought into the adventure!
Once invited into a campaign that contains an empty Seat, Guest Edition lets you do almost everything a full copy can; you can build, you can GM, and you can explore the wealth of community content. The only big limitation is not being able to start a new campaign yourself.
TaleSpire is a beautiful way to play pen and paper RPGs online. Bring your stories to life and embark upon campaigns together with your friends, regardless of where you are in the world.
With Talespire, the beauty and physicality of tabletop gaming meet the endless possibilities of a digital world. Here you can collaboratively build your worlds without compromising the handcrafted aesthetic of using traditional miniatures.
As a player, you can take on the mantle of multiple heroes and creatures, manage your stats, and express yourself using the growing emote system. Perform dice rolls directly on the board and interact with your environment — at least, as far as your GM will let you!
As a GM, you can dazzle and thrill your friends by building expansive maps, setting up shots, and controlling immersive soundscapes to bring all your delightful and devious designs to life.
TaleSpire is not tied to a specific game or ruleset. Whether you’re running a one-shot or a sprawling campaign, if it's on a square grid then we have your back. We are now in Early Access, so now is your chance to raise up your sword, rally your friends, and take your next adventure online with us.

Setting the stage for your story takes no time at all with Talespire, but even if you forget to prep, it can all be added in while you play. Want to destroy a wall to reveal a secret passage? Do it! Want to rain down piles of gold from the heavens? You have the power. At any moment during your adventure, you (or multiple GMs) can jump into building mode and change the world without interrupting anything else. Our persistent online boards can be created at a moment’s notice, and everything is synchronized in real-time as you dice-roll your way to glory.

It’s dangerous to go alone, but luckily we have a bunch of tools that can help, and all are as pleasing as they are useful. Beautiful dice, rulers and area markers, a range of emotes, and special modes for turn-based combat and cinematic sequences are at your disposal.
Pick from a plethora of pieces to create your scenes! The current roster stands at 280 miniatures, 2100 tiles and props, and 60 unique audio tracks. Our library is ever-expanding; we produce fresh asset packs every month.
TaleSpire boards are designed to be easily shared, whether with friends or with the wider community on sites like TalesBazaar or TalesTavern. You can copy sections of your boards (slabs) and paste them as text outside of TaleSpire. Simply paste the text back into TaleSpire to summon the slab to your hand.
Being in Early Access we still have plenty of adventures ahead of us. We have an active Discord community, which you can find in the social section, and alongside your feedback we’re looking forward to developing the game’s features. So come, journey with us a while.

WTF is this ♥♥♥♥ make it free or like 5 bucks
I do not understand the negative reviews...You can play for free and your DM or anyone else in your group could buy a "seat" for less money. It lets you play a game you don't own with your friends if they buy your ticket. That seat also can be used in ANY game (one at a time, but freely movable session to session with no stupid limits) and they can join a game to simply add seats for anyone regardless if they are online at the time. Its an awesome thing to do and I wish other games such as MMOs let you buy your friends ticket in this same way for game sessions.

Definitely pricey for an extra seat, but, in the end, it's a way to share the game with friends while saving some money in the process.
На данный момент лучший движок для НРИ. Даже при условии того что игра стоит 500р и плюс каждое место 280р движок стоит своих денег, так как ближайший аналог который при этом намного хуже стоит 15к или месячные подписки.
Just writing this as a DM having put hours into the base game. A seat costing 13 eur is not that expensive, especially when you can use that seat for any campaign or player who joins. When I compare the cost of renting a dedicated server for a campaign for other VTT-systems and the price of those systems this is not a lot. I can understand people are tight for money, but this game is literally only 21 eur... If there is going to be a price increase for the base game, slots or an added subscription fee, my opinion will change. But for a party of 5 having to dish out 63 eur (21 eur: Base Game, 42 eur: 4 Seat Pack) for a perpetual license without subscription fees sounds fair enough to me. Is there a cheaper or free way to play tabletop games, yes definitely, but saying this is overpriced I think is a bit of a stretch.
When this free edition was added I was very excited. I bought 5 Seats almost immediately and am using it to run a game for 3 friends who live hours away. We use Discord video chat which completes the setup perfectly. Highly recommend, the price is nothing compared to the fun we've had with this game. The ultimate digital board and game host is HERE, the future is NOW.
It's good, 18 dollars for a reusable seat you can send anyone, and reuse for any of your campaigns. People on here need some gainable employment. Value to cost wise, it's great. We use it for our campaign, works like a charm. Crazy thing is, after letting everyone play with the guest version, 3/4ths of the crew liked the program so much, they bought Talespire themselves. The quality and development are excellent. Ignore the clowns.
As a DM, it's really nice being able to just buy some seats instead of having a $25 buy-in for each new player to play in my campaigns. Bought 3 seats and now I don't feel like I'm forcing people to buy a game just because this is my preferred tabletop program.
Удобная система можно купить стулья для определенного количества игроков и приглашать любых людей
