i think this is a great tool for those of us that want to build maps/campaigns however for those of us not using VR the entire thing feels a bit clunky. im no game dev so i wont tell you how to do your jobs but if you could clean it up a bit and make it easier for us that dont use the VR that would be much appreciated. also i think a great idea would be to be able to upload your own files for miniatures or other assets you would like to use. or maybe community modding tools for the steam workshop?
great idea, but in a very rough state. if you are set on this for your tabletop games, then there a some things you should know going in: - the editor crashes a lot. most often when you select a certain prop or game object. - the editor will not autosave for you. if your client crashes after hours of work it is just gone. - the brush options (brush size, shape, and strength) are limited. it takes a very long time to create varied elevation in terrain. - there are no snapping options for objects or props. if you want to connect two wall segments you can only eyeball it. - there is no way to use snap rotation, or rotate objects using specific degrees. if you want a 90 degree angle for a corner you will have to eyeball it. - there are no scaling options of any kind. all props and objects are the size they are, if you have a wall segment that is too long then that is just too bad. if you have a boulder that is too small then that is too bad. - there are 4 textures for texture painting. you can not add your own. - there are also a limited number of props and objects to populate your maps with. you can not add your own. - you can not raise or lower the height of props or objects. you can line them up with the terrain and kind of lock them at a certain level (this only works some of the time). vr and ttrpgs could work well together, but i don't recommend dungeon full dive for this.

Very limited on assets for map building with no workshop support. Can't recommend at this time for map building purposes.
Game has been abandoned studio shut down can't play online don't know why its still offered in steam store leaving this for those looking at reviews
Company shut down. Said online would still function, it immediately stopped and there is nobody to fix it anymore.
Please work on a system to let us import our own models.
do you like dnd? ok do you like vr? ok if yous aid yes to either of those questions then this game is for you. dont got a vr headset? neither do i guess what? that doesnt matter because it has a desktop mode. this game is great for people who like building maps, making minitures, and just dnd in general! so yes i do highly recommend this for my fellow forever gms! and bonus poitns: your players can get the free version and still play...only the gm needs to buy it
This is such a hard review to make because this application could be amazing but there is literally 0 in depth guide on how to do anything. Map building is ROUGH... You have no ability to snap object. The Sizing is wonky, making mountains or inclined landscapes is an absolute mess as well. I get it, its in the early stages of development but being released nearly a year ago, this should be much further along where we are at... Refunding a friend and my product.... Guess we are going back to roll 20.
I just cant justify spending $50 on something this limited. I have been following them on instagram for a while in anticipation until I could get the game master version but it's so so limited right now so personally $50 is too much for the amount of content in it :/
Game isnt online anymore. I am really sad that the Company shut down. If I knew this was happening I would have supported them instead of waiting for a sale. And it was really nice of them to give the game away for free. They said the servers would still be up. but their not making the game unplayable. If they fix this. which I REALLY hope they do. I cant recommend it
