Tales of Xillia Remastered

Never got a chance to play the game before. So I'm happy to get a chance now. I hope the sequel gets a remaster as well.

Probably the worst game in series. Even worst than Zestiria. Frustrating and totally boring.

7/10 game Cool concept with the world, nice cast, good gameplay, and the story is whatever but serviceable. Hope Xillia 2 is better whenever that gets remastered.

Not The Last of Us, not Uncharted, not any other exclusive - THIS was THE game I wanted a PS3 for back in the day. Better late than ever, eh? Despite obvious shortcomings, I'm putting Xillia right at the top of my personal favorite "Tales of" titles, probably at the same spot next to Berseria. Again, despite mentioned shortcomings I loved it to bits: Loveable, well voiced main cast that doesn't yap non-stop (looking at you, Arise). I remember people hating on Milla's EN VA but personally I found it very charming, not something you'd expect in this kind of game, not uhh... Erica Lindbeck's kind of VA; Intriguing, albeit a bit confusing story; non-bloated game length (Tales games and other JRPGs suffer from this problem where the game drags for 15-20 more hours than it should have and I appreciated a solid "compact" story that gets to the point much quicker); almost complete absence of stupid anime tropes. As for them shortcomings - game feels rushed. Game WAS rushed for released at Tales anniversary if my memory serves right. Way too much reused assets. Dungeons have very simplistic design and barely different between one another, same goes for the enemies. Sountrack isn't very memorable either. Port itself is very solid. Bandai Namco has finally learned to properly port these classics. No technical issues whatsoever. Keyboard layout would feel very awkward for the first ten hours but you can used to it. Overall it's my problem for not having a contoller, the game wasn't designed for KB/M to begin with. I'm very satisfied with Tales of Xillia, glad I managed to not spoil myself on it after such a long time, truly enjoyed it and will definitely do another run as a second protagonist soon. Here's to Xillia 2 PC release soon!

Cool game. The story is a bit of a slow burn, but it does eventually get quite engaging, and the cast is memorable except for like Leia. I'd also say the combat was pretty fun. It's definitely worth checking out if you enjoy JRPGs, and hopefully the second games comes to Steam soon! I'd also like to give a shoutout to how pretty Fennmont is; I wish more of the game took place in that city because the aesthetic is amazing.

Игра с самого начала куда-то торопится. Последний акт вообще получился каким-то слишком скомканным и спонтанным. Ей бы накинуть сверху часиков 15, чтобы повествование шло плавнее, но увы. Мне очень понравился дизайн Феннмонта и дизайн персонажей, особенно Миллы и Джуда, но это единственное что в игре меня впечатлило. В целом игра просто неплохая. Что сюжет, что персонажи, что история мира, что антагонист, что сценки и побочные события - всё сделано неплохо, а местами даже хорошо, но не более чем хорошо. Это не уровень Tales of Abyss, но это всё еще игра которая проходится с удовольствием.

玩过十几座传说，头一次玩几个小时就玩不下去了。。甚至在PS2时代在回去玩原版宿1（日文版）都没被劝退，玩这个被劝退了。。。

Как всегда отличное приключение! Спасибо за русский в ремастере. Шрифт и letter spacing у текста конечно так и не поправили с фиксами, но привыкнуть можно. Ждём ремастер 2 части с надеждой, что в наличии будет русский язык!
