Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 17 → 0.6/day in the week after.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Allow us to toggle WALKING on and off in the game and it will be a 10/10
Not for Me, But I See the Audience I wish there was a neutral recommendation. Tales of the Shire is a very slow, very peaceful experience, and whether you enjoy it or not will depend entirely on what you want out of a cozy life sim. The graphics are wonderful, and the village looks exactly how I’d expect a Hobbit settlement to feel: warm, lived-in, and charming. The character creator is basic but solid, and while the cooking mini-game took a bit to understand, it clicked once I got the hang of it. That said, the progression is extremely slow. The tutorial stretches over multiple in-game days, and I’m still hunting for a single book long after I expected to be done. Quests take time, sometimes a lot of time, and the game seems perfectly content letting you wait. The biggest downside for me was the villagers. They felt forgettable and oddly unpleasant. Instead of feeling like part of a warm, welcoming community, many came across as lifeless, rude, or strangely hostile, which clashed hard with the cozy tone the game is aiming for. This game is clearly designed for players who: Want to take their time Don’t mind waiting days in-game to complete simple objectives Enjoy peaceful wandering without strong direction Prefer atmosphere over momentum There’s nothing inherently wrong with that design choice. It’s just not for me. I’ve played other cozy life sims that offer more engaging characters and a stronger sense of purpose. For the right player, this could be a relaxing escape. For me, it wasn’t my second breakfast… more like a quiet cup of tea I didn’t finish.
very chill and relaxing game, no need to rush or worrying about time management to complete a task.
