I recommend this game.
Heart felt... enjoyed.
7/10
Narrativa e jogabilidade muito boa! Um Metroidvania bem justo
Really enjoyable game. Also very cool to get something based on African mythology. Great fit for Steam Deck too. There is a Deck preset, but I found you can get even higher settings playable by disabling AA and Vsync. Buttery smooth and very pretty
Lovely Platformer. Cool storyline. Great game. 👍
game too easy even at hard. platforming is very repetitive. Combat is forcing you to switch between the 2 forms and not in a fun way red shield for red mask, blue shield for blue mask... story is kind of boring and easy to predict.
Recommend? Yes. I've got a few niggle nitpicks, but they ain't worth of any real criticism. Like the back drop backgrounds have importance and detail, but the game design and the art design have some friction with each other that makes it difficult or really absorb and appreciate the amount of work that would have gone into a lot of the background details. Also, a bit about the game's mechanics. Purely from a mechanically objective outlook, it's on the more basic side of things. So while the story of the game is a bit heavy, there is still a subtle friction between game design and art where they sort of don't mesh as well as they aught to. That art thou. So good. Art is something that's meant to make you feel, right? Yeah. Those elements of this game that is the Art is top shelf stuff.
Beautiful game with a great story, great voice acting, great soundtrack and fun mechanics. I loved how the game incorporated various common aspects of Bantu culture and I hope to see more games in the future that incorporate more African cultures. P.S. I saw that some people were reviewing the game badly not because of the game but because EA sold themselves to the Saudi's. I do agree that is bad but, review a game like this with how small the developer is only hurts the developer and not the publisher.
