Hard puzzle game, but a very good one! Arrange your soldiers -- they will slide in a cardinal direction until hitting an obstacle (this maneuvering makes up 50% of the puzzle aspect, trying to figure out how to get your soldiers around the map to where you want them). Hit "start" and enemy soldiers approach; your soldiers defend. Soldier types (pikemen, swordsman, archer, thief) have different hp, damage, range, and behavior. Archers can't see thieves until they get within melee range.

Not the most difficult game, although it did make me sweat at times. I remember getting stuck somewhere around the third level a while back, but after coming back to it much later, I clicked through the rest of the levels pretty quickly. Perfect for playing in the background. There are minor bugs, but mostly not annoying — though some were. Sometimes my units just wouldn't attack the enemy, even though nothing seemed to be blocking them — this happened most often with the mage unit. That said, the reverse also happened: there was at least one level where, with a certain unit placement, my assassin would wipe out the enemy assassin without taking any damage. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, though the ending leaves a bit of an emptiness. I can recommend it for the easy-on-the-eyes design, interesting puzzles, and simple, trial‑encouraging controls
