About
The guy in the mirror is smirking right back at you. It’s you, just bolder, a little reckless, and completely tired of playing by the rules.

One chaotic night leaves you stuck with a new partner, your own uninhibited alter ego. He has some pretty wild ideas about shaking up this quiet city, but he needs you to actually pull the strings. It's time to uncover the town's secrets and shape it into your personal playground.

You call the shots here. The game presents a core choice that defines your entire playthrough:
The Main Storyline: Team up with your darker side and use your influence to bend the city to your will. Work the social scene, get inside people’s heads, and create the world you desire.
The Alternative Path: If you prefer a heavier narrative full of betrayal, heartbreak, and tough choices, this separate route awaits.
Important Note: The Alternative Path is 100% optional. We know unexpected drama isn't for everyone, so this route is never triggered by accident. It requires a conscious, intentional choice from the player.

Real Choices: Shape the story your way. Decide whether to be the mastermind pulling the strings or sit back and watch the events play out.
A Massive Cast: Meet dozens of characters, each with their own hidden secrets, desires, and branching storylines to uncover.
Mature Storytelling: A deeply written narrative for adults that explores complex relationships, power dynamics, and intimacy.
Your Unhinged Partner: Plenty of banter with a witty alter ego who always has a sarcastic comment or a devious suggestion ready.
Taffy Town is your sandbox. How will you choose to play?

old version is better
Very boring, you are getting scammed. I am 75% through and the MC has not had sex once. Only repating the same BJ sceans over and over. Go play Summertime Saga instead.
Taffy Tales Redux has a genuinely interesting core concept. The protagonist is constantly influenced by an angel and a devil on his shoulders, and it's up to you which voice to follow. On paper, that sounds like it should lead to meaningful branching paths and replayability. Unfortunately, the game never really takes advantage of that mechanic. Most dialogue choices feel cosmetic, and I never got the impression that my decisions had any real impact on the overall story. The game also deserves credit for its customization options. Being able to toggle content like cuckolding or gay scenes is a great feature because it lets players tailor the experience to their own preferences instead of forcing content they may not enjoy. That said, the biggest issue is the pacing and progression. The game constantly left me wanting more, but not in a good way. Just when it feels like you're finally about to deepen a relationship or push the story forward with another character, you're met with yet another repetitive scene. By the end, it honestly felt like I'd watched my 80th blowjob scene while the actual character progression barely moved. When the credits rolled, I genuinely thought I was only halfway through the game. There are plenty of characters and ideas that feel underdeveloped, and the experience ends long before it feels satisfying. Instead of feeling complete, it feels like I paid for half a game.
WCSNMDM啊!现在制作组你会个G8剧本啊!,现在的剧本是一坨狗屎!
ITS MISSING SO MUCH !!! NOT WORTH BUYING
纯靠剧情对话拖时间的诈骗产品。本以为有惊喜,毕竟开头的面具人和众多支线都没结局,通关后才发现啥也没有,退款时间也超了。纯纯半成品,别买,抓紧跑。
Came across Taffy Tales way back when it was around on Patreon and it was one of the first visual novels I came across and I was instantly into it on day 1. I wasn’t able to stick with it every single step of the way, but I was able to check in every once in a while to see progress, and each time I was always eager to play. Fast forward to an announcement for steam, and I just think, “Awesome, I love seeing projects like this moving up to different places.” I only just recently got through the game, and quite frankly, I miss the old Taffy Tales. AI art being the biggest turn off, but I was hoping to get past it with all of the other elements of the game I enjoyed, but I’m still finding myself not enjoying it as much as I did in the past. Comparatively, I’d rather go back to the OG and replay that as it feels like it has so much more uniqueness to it and the characters as opposed to this ‘upgrade’. I would like to have hope for it, and would love for my view to be turned around with future updates, but this didn’t meet my expectations. To bring up some pros, I will say that despite my critique of the AI art usage, I do enjoy the background work, particularly in places like the campus, and kind of the shop.
Many promises, but none kept. It starts out okay, but soon becomes boring and repetitive, and the potentially explosive hardcore component leaves everything to the imagination. The plot is clever, making you believe the best is yet to come, but it never arrives, and by the time you realize it, you've passed the point where you can ask for a legitimate refund. I fell for it, don't you. It's a real piece of junk!
I played the original game before, up to the last versions, which in my opinion was excellent, apart maybe the NTR part but that's a taste thing. Even if you definitely have the UberPie vibe and art, there are a few things that I have a hardtime with on this version that were much better on the original; - The AI; some scene are made with AI and you can feel it, the text and the visual have no consistency (the scene where Sara comes at Peter's house is a typical example) and it kills the immersion, which was one of the main point of the original game for me. - Another point that kills the immersion: the various change of temper, behaviour in the characters. The original game had more coherence and consistency, characters wouldn't go from angry to strict to horny, or at least, not in such a sudden unatrual fashion (Harry is an example, his trajectory felt a lot more linear and natural in the original game). Let's say everything felt more natural before. - The two points above are linked to the "stretching" of the game, which gain lenght while loosing coherence and a bit of intensity I think, which is a shame. The art itself is still great but I still think that the first version of the game was better in terms of pacing, coherence and drawings. Conclusion; would I recommand this game? YES. Does it need a big patch to correct all of the mentionned issues; definitely. Is it better than the original game? Not yet but it has the potential.
