Taffy Tales Redux : The Morning After

I've only been following progress for this game for the past year and a half or so, but even with the history of the developer aside, this is absolutely not worth anything above $5. The original art style was unique and the amount of text was reasonable. This is now extremely bloated with text that isn't compelling and feels used to artificially inflate the playtime. The worst offender is the difference in art style between characters on the map or during dialogue vs the very noticeable AI art for sex/lude scenes. I had already seen several reviews mentioning it and thought they might have been exaggerated, but it is bad. Now given that this game was already close to completion with it's original art and setting, this reboot would need to at least meet the same quality to justify this reset, but it is far from the original quality. I cannot recommend this game if you value your time or money at all.

Short version. Game has a firm foundation to be a good game. Replayable content, good graphic or art style if you will. Multiple story lines and paths to walk. Simple but likable characters. But that's where it ends. Its like the creators were slammed or push to push out a half finish product. You can see where they simply just character swap on the same replayable content. Most characters are just back ground noise not even really used. There so much more they could had added. without adding more characters. Just more scenes, more story arcs. It advertise so much. Gave so little. If this was a food. it be like a bag of chips. Shows so much, taste good enough to come back. But mostly full of empty promises. AT best wait till its actually completed. Worse just another quick cash grab.

Game is terrible no animated scenes, too much text, no story, the game isn't engaging, the scenes are all AI slope, i skip all the text until my finger got tired, such a shame, all this time for nothing, this game has so much potential but the developers aren't doing it right, 24 dollars way too much, this game should be 10 bucks.

I don't mind use of AI in games if it isn't too noticable, but unfortunately in this case it is. The controls are also really bad.

I hope updates with more content are coming. Yo would expect to be able to interact with more characters.
