We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I loved this game and think you should play it if you like tactical RPGs or even just Final Fantasy Tactics. I basically like all of Matsuno's work, so go ahead and buy Final Fantasy 12 while you're at it. Gameplay: If you have played Final Fantasy Tactics, this will feel familiar, though the battle system seems to be a little bit deeper in this game. I never played the original, so I don't really understand the gripes about the card system or number of skills you can equip. Customization did sometimes seem a little limited in the sense that most classes have a few must-have skills in my opinion, which left less room to experiment with the others. But this doesn't seem like a huge deal to me. I liked the large variety of classes and that the game doesn't really hold your hand too much. For example, I was grinding in a dungeon toward the end of the game and happened to discover by accident that I could recruit a necromancer, which then led me to discover that I can turn my griffons into zombies with the necromancer. This then caused me to develop an entirely new battle strategy that involved wide-spread battlefield disruption instead of the battles of attrition I had been waging with dragons because the zombie griffons automatically resurrect themselves after a period of time and so I didn't need to fear permanently losing them. Very cool that it felt like I figured that out on my own. Writing: This is one of the few games with a large amount of dialogue that I don't think reads as incredibly juvenile, cheesy, or simple. I think the characters, the plot as a whole, and the decisions you make along the way are interesting and compelling. Even the most ridiculous character in the game (the protagonist's sister) can be read in a way that adds tons of texture and depth to her psychology. There is a confrontation with the divine, as in many JRPGs, but again it is done so much better than in other games--where it seems awkwardly stuffed into the latter half of the plot. The human, political drama never feels like it is hijacked by some out of left field god slaying duty. Really great work! Graphics: I really like the art style used here, though I can't help but sometimes think that this, artistically, feels like a generic Final Fantasy Tactics. Only a few classes have visually interesting styles, like the necromancer, for instance. The one that grinds my gears about this game--and Tactics as well--is that unique units come to take up a large portion of your party (unless you intentionally go generics only and miss out on the minor story beats), but their costumes don't change with their classes. As far as gripes go, this is minor, but I wish the cool costumes for the various classes transferred onto the unique units. Technical: Runs great on Bazzite--no crashes or performance issues.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I did have fun for a while but this game have some big issues that the more I played it, the more annoyed I was -most of the stuff you can unlock is stuck at the very end of the game you don't unlock tomes and draconic spells when you get your first warlock classmarks you fight several necromancers through the story, but they never drop necromancer classmarks or necromancy spells no everything is shoved at the end of the game -Vyce and Catiua writing, they deserved better and...I don't find it making any sense - a lot of unique characters yet so few interactions -Lizards, Lamias and Orcs are playable...but they don't have a story or any characters could have been really cool to form alliances with them (especially on the chaos route) -the blue card buffs that always seems to appear close to the ennemy and bosses starting fights with max buff cards transforming them into killing machines that will one shot any of your characters -auto-skills that don't trigger it's a very frustrating game with lots of really cool ideas it's also just a remaster of a remake...I think it's time to see a new entry to this serie
Loved this game. Great long term playability after beating the game. Harder challenges after beating the boss.
I really wanted a Tactics Ogre game with the squads of troops. An expansion or build upon the bones of the old N64 game would be fantastic IMO. I've even played a few indie games that have done well at the same. I just want those things, with new game-levels of class/job complexity. More jobs, more unlockable secret classes/abilities/etc... Tactics Ogre Reborn is not the above. it is however a solid tactical rpg. The level limitation mentioned in many reviews isn't as restrictive as I thought it would be, but is definitely a decision I wouldn't repeat if I was this dev. It adds a player restriction with no real purpose beyond punishing a play style in a single player game. If a player wants to put in the work to grind levels, gear, etc..? Let them. That's playtime and presumably some type of enjoyment. I would use the same argument in regards to character balance, as there is zero carryover on skills in this game, from one class to another. You won't be having a Wizard with their learned warrior skills keeping them in the fight longer. Or a fighter whipping out a healing spell in a pinch. Instead, levels in a class determine solely stat growth. Assigned skills level up based on overall level, and are unlocked when the character advances, regardless of what class they are (switching from wizard level 10 to Cleric, results in unlocking all level 10 Cleric abilities). In some ways the above restrictions enhance game play, sure. But this type of game should reward time and effort. That is the most frequent type of player involved in these games, and the incoming release of FF Tactics shows that people want the ability to grind for overpowered builds. Let them. It is fun. If they don't want to do that, they won't. Which is also fine.
The party level limitation is not good.. but it's still a classic.
Classic. Enjoy
