Tactical Soccer The New Season is a turn-based soccer simulation. Control all 11 players at the same time - instead of shouting at your left back to ‘get forward’ you control them and can build up an attack exactly how you want. You are the coach and have real control of the team.

WARNING - IMMEDIATE THOUGHTS AFTER 30 MINUTES GAMEPLAY After watching this game for the last day, seeing no reviews of it, i decided to buy it and review it myself. SInce my PC is finding a hard time running it, i suspect a need for optimization. I have a decent computer, and it is still working very hard making it run. Now for the gameplay. pros: Overall a fell like the game has a lot of ambition, and, although i only have about 30 minutes of gameplay being forced to take a break to prevent cpu overheat, i feel as if there are a lot of posibilites in the layout. I think the game wants to focus on the simulation experience, compared to the arcade experience you get from football tactics. A nice feature is that you can practically conrol lines of people at the time. This means you don't have to control movements for all 10 field players at the time. You have a lot of options for passing or shooting the ball, in terms of bending the curve of the pass/shot, and lifting it as well. I really like this since it gives the possibility of shooting in a lot of different ways (to be fair i have only shot the ball once). Cons: As just mentioned i have only been able to make one shot on goal. I find it very hard to pass the ball intuitively around the pitch, while moving players around it. I do hope that it's just a matter of optimizing the players' reactions towards nearby players/the ball. With that said, i think that a good football game would make you want to chase the ball when you lose it. In soccer tactics: new season, it just makes me want to start over because tackling the opposition is really hard and counterintuitive. The interface is REALLY confusing in my opinion. I don't like to compare too much to other games, but since football tactics just came out a month ago, it feels really natural to do so. What i really liked from football tactics, was that you were thrown into a match, and then a tutorial ran alongside this, where you learned the games' different features while playing. Moreover the interface between matches was really easy to understand and get an overview of. In soccer tactics: new season, you're thrown into the game, which has a lot of information that's hard to determain the function of, and if you have questions there's a 20 page manual that you can turn to. All in all i like what i think the game wants to do, and for that i'll give this review the benefit of the doubt, although it is a very small recommendation. in stars i'd be giving it 5,1/10, but keep in mind that i haven't played it for very long.
buggy and hard to play .
I picked this up hoping a turn-based soccer game would scratch a strategic itch, but the execution left me frustrated. The core concept is genuinely interesting, and the graphics are decent for an indie title, but matches drag on interminably — we're talking hours to complete a single game. The tactics feel shallow once you realize most plays boil down to getting close and shooting at the same corner every time, headers are useless, and the AI turn delays make an already slow game feel painful. The UI needs serious polish and there are mechanical exploits that break what little strategy exists. Unless you have unlimited patience and a deep love for the concept, I'd point you toward Football Tactics & Glory instead.

not like fifa 16 that i've played but does the job as a tactical soccer game
I know a few people that would really enjoy spending 4+ hours to complete a single football match. But that aint me. The game concept is good, execution could use a few design touch-ups when it comes to menu and understanablilty of the options given. But the game just takes so long to play. If you're aiming on getting all of the achivements, you can expect putting a guaranteed minimum of 90+ hours into the game
