Tactical Command

Very solid game loop, but needs polish and bug fixing. Overall very fun, excited to see how this is going to develop.

Yes, its good. Its like Mount and Blade. I think. Havent actually played it. But you run around a map, make the size of your force larger, and then attack other forces with smaller numbers, just like real war. The aesthetics are kinda off, the mobile-toon not my bag but getting a gang of lads together and then smoking somebody else is neat. I recommend. Wishlist: First person(i shoot the dirt alot), controlling individual units, UI clean up. Otherwise a great game.

It's an interesting, arcadey take on the Mount & Blade formula, but very underdeveloped. Unfortunately it lacks any of the tactical depth its title would imply - the orders you can issue are "go here", "shoot this", but you're better off issuing none and just having your troops follow you in a big blob. Meanwhile, the shooting and movement are too basic to be much fun for longer than 5 minutes. There are different troop classes and upgrades, as well as personal weapons and mechs for your player-character to use/pilot, but the core gameplay isn't compelling - or even challenging - enough for me to want to pursue them.

Very good little game. A lot of fun and akin to Mount and Blade but with guns. Decent weapon variety and plenty of replay value even if to kill a few hours here and there. Teething problems like any small game, but nothing major. Would recommend, especially if ever discounted.

Very clunky and unfun in FPS battle mode. Overly simplistic in map mode. Enemy groups, even the weakest ones which would be equivalent to looters in Freeman or Mount and Blade, scale to match your group strength and not only do I hate level scaling but it's totally unnecessary here. If you want Mount and Blade with guns, shell out the extra cash and get Freeman: Guerilla Warfare or Conflict: Total Resistance. Neither game has an especially good reputation particularly Freeman but they're both a lot better than this.
