纯战斗的全面战争,省去了繁琐的运营环境 直接开干
An excellent fusion of Total War combat and Slay The Spire roguelite elements. Very casual and fun, absolutely worth the asking price.
just a more simple total war game. very good and fun. more lore would be cool and the ai a little smarter and unit formations but its a solo dev so its 100% excused the game is already in a great state and has so much potential.
Super addicting if you like total war and roguelikes
What a gem of a game! It's incredibly polished—I haven't encountered a single bug so far—and it has amazing replay value. Every run feels different, and while the factions offer plenty of variety, discovering powerful synergies is what really makes the game shine. That said, the optimal progression eventually encourages you to repeat the same routes and decisions, and that kind of grind just isn't my forte. I play for the fun of experimenting with builds and gameplay rather than chasing 100% completion, so the completionist side of the game has much less appeal to me than the moment-to-moment action. If you're someone who enjoys the mechanics but dislikes repetitive grinding, I'd recommend picking it up on sale rather than at full price. Progression is largely tied to milestone objectives, with encounters often being heavily influenced by whether RNG grants you one of two key items or not, that can influence the Garison strenght and Unit types and that is to random to be reliable. 'RNG item drop' is not a sytem of viriaty and should NOT be offered as such. My favorite moment was a common Skeleton with Privilege III (not what I wanted in my playtrough) that carried me all the way to the final chapter better then some other epic/legendary unit did. Thanks to a combination of [common type buff item] attack and defense buffs plus a single-card enhancement, it became an unstoppable frontline unit that survived everything while buying time for the rest of my army. It was a great reminder that smart deckbuilding and synergies often matter more than rarity. In comparison, some epic units with impressive traits felt underwhelming because their smaller unit sizes couldn't fully capitalize on their abilities. The game feels like the love child of Darkest Dungeon and Total War. It captures Darkest Dungeon's campaign structure, branching paths, and meaningful encounter choices, while blending them with army building and large-scale tactical battles inspired by Total War. It's a combination that works surprisingly well and feels fresh. I'd love to see the developers expand on this formula with cooperative modes. A co-op campaign where each player takes separate routes toward shared objectives, specializing in different army roles (melee, ranged, support, etc.) before combining forces for major battles, would be fantastic. Another dream mode would be something closer to For the King—an open world where players roam together, recruit armies, gather resources, and tackle challenges cooperatively. This game's core systems would be a perfect fit for that style of gameplay. Fantastic work by the developers. I'm genuinely excited to see where this game goes. I'd happily support future expansions, help test new features, and provide detailed feedback throughout development. As a would-like-to-be developer myself, I'd even be willing to contribute code or collaborate on features in my spare time—purely for the opportunity to learn from the project, gain insight into your design decisions, and be part of building something with so much potential. This game has a fantastic foundation, and I'd love to help it grow in any way I can.
truly a great game for ppl looking for total war combat at a faster pace
Total war meets slay the spire. What's not to like?
10/10 as someone who likes roguelite & the total war franchise this is created for someone like me and maybe for you too. Runs smooth with no glitches or any weird interactions. Lots of content without the feeling of it being filler (as i do have with the total war franchise sometimes) and especially taking the price into consideration. A game that i will play for quite some time to come....
Great game for people who enjoy Total War Warhammer and similiar games, but want a faster, less complex type of battles. Looking forward to multiplayer!
I've been wanting a "total war" style roguelike ever since the caravan feature was added and I've gotta say this does not disappoint! I've only played one "run" so far but It was a total blast and I'll absolutely be playing more.
