Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

yeah good for making simplistic dnd
It's good for what it was, but seems to have stagnated development wise.

Tabletop Playground is dead! It tried to be a competitor to the old and famous Tabletop Simulator and it is technically better in some ways, but it lacks the playerbase and modders who are willing bring content to the game. Ultimately it died and as of today there have not been any update in 1.5 years, so we can safely put a tombstone on Tabletop Playground and wish farewell!
good
An Essential Creative Sandbox, Not Just a "Game"
Note regarding playtime: My recorded Steam hours are low because I do almost all of my work on the dedicated BETA branch, which is substantially further ahead in active development and feature support (at the expense of occasional experimental instability). If you own the game, I highly recommend applying for beta access so anyone who purchased the game can easily get enrolled using the same email address associated with their purchase: Beta - Tabletop Playground

Thank you for bringing this tool to Steam. While it sits under the "game" tag, I use it strictly as an engineering and design environment for creative work.
Why It Stands Out for Creators
If you are designing board games or prototyping dark high-fantasy TTRPG systems, Tabletop Playground offers unmatched flexibility over traditional virtual tabletops:

Modern Engine & Fidelity: Built on Unreal Engine with full control over physics, lighting, and object collision.
Scripting Freedom: If you have even pre-intermediate software development or scripting skills, the JavaScript API lets you automate mechanics, rule enforcement, and state handling cleanly.
Native Multi-Sheet & Unique Backs: Handles large asset rosters and complex deck architectures without artificial limits.

Contributing Back to the Community
To streamline preparing card assets, duplex sheets, and rulebooks directly from vector PDFs into TTPG's native template format, I developed an open-source pipeline and desktop manager: Tabletop Playground Deck Pipeline: https://github.com/iomatix/Tabletop-Playground-Deck-Pipeline It automates vector extraction, DPI-to-physics scaling, and texture atlas packaging so you can spend less time cutting images and more time building. If you are a designer, developer, or digital tabletop creator looking for an uncompromised prototyping suite, this is hands down the best platform available on Steam.
