About

Test your mettle (but also your metal) as you discover and unleash the power behind a multitude of magical swords to defeat an otherworldly Celestial evil! Your quest will challenge your reactions, lead you through treacherous biomes, and pit you against the most formidable enemies and bosses.

A giant blade has plunged into the world of Armorial, bringing a hail of smaller blades along with it. The calamitous sword seems to be draining the power of the planet itself, and with each passing day, the rain of swords grows heavier and heavier. To undo this vile corruption, you’ll play as Colt, an unwitting hero who has gained the ability to wield the fallen blades. It's time to make a stand against the Celestial evil that seeks to destroy the kingdom!

As you venture forth, each new sword you find will come with a unique ability, aka its Swordcery. These abilities allow you to perform magical feats like: hurling your sword out in boomerang-like fashion, thundering down as a bolt of lightning, opening up hellfire fissures, or summoning a ring of protective icy swordflakes!

Every blade you find is categorized into a Sword Class, which has its own set of offensive maneuvers. From specific combos to unique abilities, each Sword Class may be more advantageous due to the terrain or combat situation. It is up to you to master and acknowledge which Sword Class's attributes and attacks will work in unison along with your mighty Swordcery abilities. Enemy encounters will test your ability to recognize patterns, reactions to telegraphed attacks, your ability to utilize both melee and various magical attacks, as well as your resource management skills while in the heat of battle.

Each new run, you can expect to discover new swords, find various relics to add to your playstyle, choose new sword class upgrades, and trek through procedurally generated dungeons.

I haven't played TON yet but this game is very fun. Smooth controls, easy to understand ton of great swords as the name would imply. Highly recc :3
Solid/promising roguelike, the bosses are fun and it has a lot of charm, with each weapon feeling pretty diverse from each other (which is the main draw of the game, all the swords!)
This game has a really cool/silly vibe that adds to the incredibly entertaining swords and their powers. There is a great skill tree system and sword unlocks/shops for feeling like you're progressing, which is always something I need in rougelikes. The combat is super fun with just the right amount of difficulty. It's clear a lot of time went into the game as well because the polish is way better than expected from an early access game. Loving it so far

Loving this game so far! I've been following since the beginning, and it's really come a long way (in the best way) from where it started. Roguelikes/lites are my jam, so this is right up my alley. I'm actually surprised to love some of the swords that I do. I typically go for lighter/faster swords, but some of the greatsword and titan sword abilities are so cool that I find myself wanting to play with them more. You can tell the devs listened to feedback from the demo to help balance out the room drops and combat. I'm excited to see how far I can get and what swords will take me the farthest. I fall into the habit of button mashing in most games, but I like that you really have to be thoughtful with your attacks and pay attention to the enemies around you. If you love games like Enter the Gungeon, Hades, etc., then this is definitely worth trying out!
This game has been a blast so far. Is it difficult? Absolutely, but like any other game in this genre, once you go through a few runs and level up, you can get farther in. There are some quirks with the UI, but that’s to be expected with early access. Overall, it’s a fun game and I look forward to sinking more hours into beating it!
Good, but could be really good with some tweaks. Excited to see what comes of this, but please make some UX changes, especially in the main hub. The map works when I'm fighting; but at main hub there is no map, and I have to run for 10s both ways to buy upgrades which is annoying. Also, I have no idea when people in town will take upgrade currency to actually do something. It seems I am expected to run around after each level up to see if something changed. In the main hub, there is a guy in the NorthEast with weapons and upgrades. But no clear indication that those are for testing (I think they are), or what you have unlocked. I thought I messed up my save by upgrading my weapon there, turns out it didn't count. Balance is kinda off, Seems skewed to be pretty tough. Like Sekiro, it gets easier when you understand when to dodge, when to block, when to change weapons, etc. But it really feels like entering anything beyond act 2 is like, Genichiro skill wall.
The variety of Gameplay with the swords was a huge draw for me, keeps the game fresh and exciting! I definitely recommend!
A cool concept and a great basis for something that can be great! As of now it's a little jank and quite challenging, but not in a way that ruins the game. I hope early access goes well for this!
Feels great, lots of creative weapons, and a fun skill tree. The combat is simple yet full of depth with challenging enemies that will require you to use all of your attacks at the right time.
not much in the way of synergy or reason to switch swords once you get a good one. Tomb area enemies are over-tuned. I was hoping to kill them after I respawned but I got stuck in the transition animation while a bunch of thwomp guys blocked the door and murdered me
