SWISCAPE is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam. It's a very basic "swiping" physics platformer where you must swipe the ball to make it bounce around the platforms, rescue the friendly alien whatevers, and then hop to the escape platform so a rocket can pick you up. Gameplay is a lot like you removed all the puzzle, strategy, pigs and structures from Angry Birds, and just flung one of the birds around endlessly. Yeah, it doesn't sound good, does it. While the visuals are tolerable and the game doesn't rely on lazy pixel "art", the rest of the game lacks polish. The swiping mechanism is unrefined and clunky and generally less than pleasant to use... and that's the core of this mobile game. While this is free, it's really not that great, and should have stayed on the mobile app stores where it belongs. I didn't spend thousands building a gaming rig so I could pretend it's an iPhone.
