Sven's SudokuPad

I use the mobile app version and it's great. Web version also great. This version? Abandoned, missing features of the other versions, and buggy. I hate leaving a negative review since I like the other versions, but do not waste your time or money with this one. Use the web version instead, or the mobile app.

I just got this game on Steam to play some Sudoku puzzles featured on the CtC YouTube channel. I think I'm going to return it though because it doesn't have the features I thought it would. Firstly, I thought there would be a few more puzzles pre-installed. I have a few of the Android apps and figured that some of those same puzzle packs might be included here but it seems there are only about 10 pre-installed puzzles. I also thought there would be some sort of puzzle browser to search for new puzzles and to share created puzzles, but I guess you can only do this through copying/pasting URLs so if you don't have the URL you can't play the puzzle. This Steam app is also missing a lot of the features from the browser app as well as the Android apps like a Killer calculator, or different color pencil marks, or more than 9 cell colors, or the ability to use letters as pencil marks. From what I can tell, the last update was 2021. Are there any plans to update this version to match some of the other versions? At the very least, the pencil marking updates would be a very welcome addition. A puzzle browser would be really nice to see too. I'm probably going to return this until I see more updates. i fumking LOVE sudoku

Не распознаёт fog и просто показывает сразу весь пазл. А ещё при проверке решения он сразу подсвечивает всё красным, даже то, что ты ещё не успел ввести. На сайте же даётся удобная подсказка о том, что ты либо ошибся (не говоря где), либо ты идёшь в верном направлении. Хотелось бы так же. upd а ещё он сам не подгружает пазлы с сайта и приходится сначала найти пазл на сайте а потом недоумевать зачем я вообще тогда купил этот продукт

The only reason why I've purchased this was so that I can learn Sudoku, since I've been playing it on Pogo with Monopoly Sudoku. Sadly this product heavily disappointed me. It doesn't show me the mistakes I've made, doesn't give any reasoning on why my custom puzzles are marked with multiple solutions, and it's overall confusing. I wish there was a feature that would check your moves instead of having to memorize it by heart. It's very confusing and as a beginner to Sudoku, I can not recommend this product. It's functional and it works, but why have this version when you can just use the online version that basically works just the same? It pains me to do this, but I am going to get this product refunded. It's simply not for me...

I love this SudokuPad! You don't need it to play the CTC sudoku puzzles, there's an online version that's free. But for the price, I was happy to get the Desktop app. It came with some interesting classic Sudoku puzzles and also lets me save any imported puzzles.
