I spent the first hour of this game thinking "Oh, this is way to dense. I don't think it's for me." I'm a decent way's in and I'm already excited for my second play through. Every decision has a noticeable affect on the country, whether its immediate or delayed. The storytelling is done incredibly well, and all the characters have depth. Love this game.
I wish we were allowed numerical scores or at least a neutral one. This is a well made game, but it's definitely more of a story/visual novel than a simulator or true management game. I think most people will like it, but for me, I didn't like a lot of the story elements (IDGAF about my character's family, sorry not sorry LOL). I also didn't like how I couldn't really connect policies to outcomes; like, why am I in a depression when practically all the economic news up to this point was good? I can accept I made some poor choices, but it's not clear what. I guess you can argue it is realistic in that regard, but it wasn't my cup of tea. So, soft recommend.
