Surmount: A Mountain Climbing Adventure

Класс! Симуляторы скалолазания вообще должны быть выведены в отдельный жанр, типа, cozy mounting там. PIKE тому пример. Тут всё очень хорошо начинается, юмор к месту - мир отреагировал на моё падение с высоты, например. Я бы вернулся и допрошёл.

Such an adorable little big game! Climb a big mountain traversing multiple biomes with their own challenges, and complete side missions for added lore and FUN!!! Everything about the game is adorable. It has strong animal crossing vibes in how characters look and talk, and in music as well. Gameplay is simple to learn and has a good skill ceiling, especially with the optional enhancements you can unlock. Highly recommended! Took me 9.2h solo, did not try coop which could be fun.

In a world where the climbing genre of games has, all pun intended, Peaked, this little game has carved out its own hand hold. With a fun story with that has some great pacing, climbing mechanics and power ups that are genuinely fun to use, Surmount is an easy recommendation.

Really awesome example of creating a totally new mechanic that's honestly hard to pick up, but once you get it down you wish there was a whole genre of games based around this.

10/10 Some people prefer eggs, some prefer toast. If you're like me, you should play this game is a climbing game, I like it!

又是一個不甩不能玩的遊戲

This game has a super weird climbing mechanic, but it's actually really fun for casual sessions once you get the hang of it. It does take a while to figure out, and even then, you sometimes have those one offs where you might throw yourself off the mountain by mistake. It's totally worth it those times you fling yourself perfectly though. Agreed with the other reviewers that the lower mountain sections are the most fun, but I didn't mind the challenge on the later half.

If you're into climbing or mountaineering this is a solid little title. Picked it up on sale for $4.
