Supreme League of Patriots - Episode 3: Ice Cold in Ellis

La tercera parte es exactamente igual a las anteriores: ninguna mejora y tal vez diálogos aún más largos que no aportan nada. Los puzzles son bastante simples, la única "complejidad" está dada porque a veces hay que Examinar un objeto para que recién ahí pueda ser usado y capaz a veces te olvidaste de "Examinar". En la review del episodio 2 dije que tiran 10000 chistes y el 1% son graciosos. En este episodio es igual. Muchas referencias a cosas de la época que ya no causan gracia. Como mencioné antes los diálogos son super pesados y para colmo en la última parte del episodio nos acompaña un tercer personaje, con lo cual ante cada línea de Kyle, tenemos el comentario de Mel seguido del comentario del otro personaje. Mi único héroe en este lío fue el click izquierdo del mouse para saltar las conversaciones más rápido. Le dejo el mismo puntaje que los anteriores pero también una recomendación de dejar este juego para el final de sus backlogs, hay infinidad de juegos mejores en el género. Puntaje: 6/10

Round 3 of the "misogynic-xenophobic-over-exaggerated-and-solely-consists-of-cliché-characters" game. Definitely play Episode 1 & 2 before starting this, or nothing will make any sense to you. As with Ep. 2, it's a strict continuitation in terms of: character models used, places, humour, etc. Even though strictly following the 100% Achievements guide, it took me the longest time to complete. I liked and recommended the first two episodes, and so I do here.

This chapter took just under 2 hours for me. The rest of the time was spent waiting for card drops. It's a decent ending to the story but they definitely set up the next story - which is good and bad.

I'm not sure how good this trio of games were in the first place, but they definitely didn't age well. It's dialogue heavy, and it uses mediocre jokes to launch into political messages with an occasional point and click adventure sequence. The jokes are mostly circa mid-2000's political jokes where the obnoxious british character calls something racist. If your glory days were mid 2000's politics, you may enjoy. Interestingly these games were made in 2015 so the jokes were already outdated when the game came out. I'd give these a hard pass unless you absolutely can't live knowing there are point and click adventure games you haven't played.

After the first two episodes this one is in some respects even more tiring. The jokes are the same, the story is being streched thin, the puzzles are getting unimaginative and the mechanical annoyances (can't speed up travel between locations, clunky character animation) just overshadow any redeeming qualities.
