It's a functional [strike]Crimsonland with autofire/autoaim on[/strike] Vampire Survivors knock-off, albeit a little barebones on content. The two tracks included in the game are nice. If you can get the game for free or, like, severely discounted, you'll get at least an hour or two of strafing/weapon combo upgrading joy out of it.

Unfinished and abandoned. Achievements can not be unlocked. +1 log added to the Early Access hate bonfire.

Какое же это кривое дерьмо, которые больше двух лет не выпускало обновления. "Игры в раннем доступе", которые из этого раннего доступа не выходят. Выпустили онлайн, а выпустить обновление с починкой достижений, связанных с оружием не могли. Самое забавное, что игроки лучше разбираются в коде игры, чем разработчики, и выпустили руководство, где можно изменить часть игры, чтоб засчитывало, а потом разработчики выпустили еще одно обновление...

As far as games that have tried to step in the big footsteps made by Vampire Survivors goes, I was expecting Super Total Carnage to be a poor carbon copy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this game that, though definitely taking notes from the aftermentioned game, it's done just well enough it clears the bar in being enjoyable. Yes, this game is effectively Vampire Survivors in terms of gameplay. It's a reverse bullet hell game where you level up your character's defense and offensive capabilities to survive for a set amount of time all while aggressively keeping a onslaught of enemies at enemies at bay. This game has a few unique features to avoid being a straight up deritive copy of Vampire Survivors though. The most notable being that environments can be destroyed to help better navigate around enemies and you can even play online with other players too. I especially like is how this game's sound and visuals takes direct influence from old horror films from the 1970's and 1980's, specifically those made in Italy. I'll admit that is a big reason why I give this game a thumbs up. Being a fan of films like that, it's quite a treat to blast zombies and cult members to pixelated pieces with a retro synth soundtrack playing. But while its blatant inspiration Vampire Survivors offers you hours of replay value, a mess ton of unlockables and, Super Total Carnage doesn't offer much content that regard. It's lacking in levels and characters so you'll not find much reason to keep playing this game. However, I'll give this game a mulligan. This game is still in early access. I really hope the developers of this game do their utmost to keep at adding to this game to correct this shortcoming. Does Super Total Carnage topple Vampire Survivors being the best reverse bullet hell game? Definitely not. But is this a fun little game? Yes. For the low price being asked, it's definitely worth a try.
