Positive Aspects:
🔹Somewhat realistic looking vehicles. 🔹Decent amount of vehicles and tracks.
Negative Aspects:
🔸Horrible Physics and drifting mechanics. 🔸More horrible gameplay elements. 🔸Game gets boring after 5 minutes.
Introduction
Supercar Drift is an Indie Game that supposedly aims to be a good drift / arcade game using some new cars and even concept cars ( without license ). It offers 11 unique vehicles and 5 Tracks that get unlocked after completing the previous available one. The game was developed and published by PLAYWHIZ GAMES Pvt Ltd. Release Date: 9th October 2019
Gameplay:
Supercar Drifts main selling point should be gameplay as it is supposed to give a ‘’thrilling’’ drifting experience, sadly that is not what happens in my opinion due to a lot of factors. Physics: Drifting should feel controllable for an arcade game, in this situation you get a box with 4 wheels while being placed on ice...yeah doesn’t sound like drifting, keep in mind that accelaration is even more inconsistent than my review uploads, 0 to 50 feels slower than 50 to 100, how? I have no idea and this is a constant motive throughout this game. Braking feels even worse you press the brake button as if you’re in a real life situation and the car is barely slowing down. ( DORFITO?). Steering is a meme as well, as no matter how you turn or when you turn it feels as if you’re driving an 12 wheeler on a frozen ocean, I am not trying to overrate the physics, it actually feels like that. Modes: The only mode you get is Drifting on a track in order to unlock the next one. You do have a time limit which makes this game even more of a painful chore. Considering the asking price for this game I would expect Online like most of the competitors offer or somewhat of a leaderboard instead of a simple singleplayer campaign with no A.I that can put up a challenge, really disappointing.
Graphics/ Audio:
Visuals are actually the strongest part of this game which tells a lot about all this. The cars do actually look decent enough, all of the cars resemble their life life counterparts, DEMON is actually a Dodge challenger and there is a Mercedes Concept as well which adds an interesting part to an Indie Racing game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1944245332 Graphics: This obviously isn’t one of the best looking games and It wouldn’t even be considered as a good looking one 10 years ago but it does honestly look attractive enough where you wouldn't uninstall it but it still has some positive aspects like nice models and decent lighting. Audio/Soundtrack: The Audio is absolutely horrible, it just sounds low quality and with headphones on 75% plus volume you will get yourself an instant headache.
Performance :
Another solid aspect of this game but in all honesty it is expected as there is barely anything that can go wrong. On Low End Devices: Intel Core i5 5200U, 8GB RAM, Intel HD 5500: Tested on Low - Medium Settings and 768p: 30+fps. On Stronger Devices: Intel Core i7 4790k, 32GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1070: Tested on Max Settings and 1080p: 60+fps. Bugs/ Glitches/ Crashes: In this painful experience of sliding into grass with a box on wheels I had no Bugs, glitches or game breaking crashes in 3 hours of suffering.
Price :
Usually I am not too critical of a game but 6,59 Eur. is way too much for a game with this little content and that horrible gameplay, visuals are subpar as well and the game simply needs a ton of work, I would only suggest this one when its under 50 cents.
Conclusion :
Supercar Drift is a low effort game with almost no content, pathetic gameplay, subpar visuals and the performance is good simply because there isn't much to worry about as you only get a handful of vehicles and only one mode which gets repetitive after some time. The developer actually says this game is "different" and offers something unique to Steam... Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! It's just another ASSET FLIP from the super popular among shady asset flipping developers and it comes from the "Extreme Drift" asset template on the Unity Asset Store found HERE: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/extreme-drift-88601 And my video review exposing this asset flip can be found HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4xarYjYWwg NOT RECOMMENDED... This game gets my usual big fat red "Asset Zero" score for zero effort. * Note: This key was provided to me by the developer to showcase how epic it is. ...Consider it done Mr Developer!

First Impressions after about 90 minutes worth of play: Pros: -UI update is great -Now feels like an actual challenging drift game, probably the best since nfs -Drift score will lead you to train and try and make moves through the track -goal times are a challenge -you can and will break loose if you are careless -the miniscule adjustments to your setups actually matter as much as they should Cons: -WE NEED MORE CARS WITH THEM! -Slight sound bugs whenever you wheel hop or spin into corners with more worn tires Summary: Easily the best drift title since EA's 2007 NFS. If you have been wanting a proper challenge in this Genre, this is the best game yet and will highly recommend to any fan of the drift car racing. Did I mention this game has the new Mercedes concept car (best car)? Please keep up the good work, PLAYWHIZGAMES you have done a great job awesome game kudos to the team gg (all I would like is some extra cars, please!)
Supercar Drift is a frustrating game that needs a lot of polish. The cars feel like I’m driving on ice the entire time and making simple turns is very difficult because the car slides into the grass or the wall. Some of the levels when I crossed the finish line wouldn’t register a win. You can see through the inside of the car doors to the ground below. The other unlockable cars require lots of grinding to get the “drift coins” necessary amount to unlock them. This game needs a lot more polish and bug fixes. There should be a dedicated drift button so that the car isn’t constantly in drift of feeling like it’s on ice and the assets need to fit the feeling of the map, not just randomly be there, especially in a game that costs $7.99 to play.

Supercar Drift is a simple game. In it you choose from a selection of cars, head to one of five tracks and attempt to beat the time limit whilst also scoring Drift Coins. The game looks good from a glance, but upon further inspection, it seems that it suffers from lack of handling of the player's vehicular movement/settings and an unsatisfactory artificial difficulty. It shows promise, but it still needs a lot of work. https://youtu.be/Y5UIHAo7Y0c 4.5/10
Oh my god. This is one steaming pile of garbage. I was so excited to see that a company was offering me their game for free due to my curator status. What I was greeted with was so abysmal, I don't even know how to put it into words. Just thirty minutes of playing and I can safely say that this is not a finished game by any means and I doubt the creator has played it at all. Perhaps this game would be more acceptable on a website like Armor Games or Miniclip or one of those other free Unity game websites because I cannot believe anyone in their right mind would pay $8 for this ♥♥♥♥. I don't know if they just don't understand how to make a game or if they really think this is gonna blow up and make them a ton of money. Hopefully with all the money they make off this trash, they can buy a Maclaren to take drifting and then tell me how accurate their game was in not only driving any vehicle but drifting. As a car enthusiast, this game pissed me off. As a gamer, this game was an affront to everything I stand for. I like games that are well made by passionate people who want to make a quality piece of art. NOT some 13-year-old with a laptop that wants to sell enough of his terrible drifting game on steam that he can buy an AIO gaming pc so he can finally play Fortnite with his friends. This game had no tutorial, no settings other than resolution, no music other than one song that was probably stolen from Monstercat which plays on repeat, no textures other than ones that look like they came straight out of the 90s, and textures for cars that I can almost guarantee the creator didn't get the proper licensing to use. This game is a perfect example of how poorly Steam monitors the games that they sell. I wouldn't play this game if they paid me. Even after all of that, developer, if you're reading this, fix your game. If you are actually passionate about making a game, start by taking it off the steam store and then fixing it. You need a main menu, more songs, better controls, better map textures, better cars, better pricetag, better controls (I know I already said it), and a tutorial of some sort.
This is the developers first attempt on creating a video game and I am sure that they have learned a lot throughout the process. That being said, I cannot recommend the game, at the current state and price. The controls of the vehicle is somewhat like improv. You can never expect it to act the way it should. If you let go of the gas the car continues to accelerate. The break system does not work very well and barely slows you down once you have picked up speed. There is no reset button to flip your car if you roll over, but you must rather restart the race altogether. Lack of sound effects and audio is not enjoyable. The track loops too quickly and therefore gets irritating quite quickly. The melody is also not easy on the ears. I hope those are all things that the developer fixes on their next attempt to make a video game. As far as this one is concerned, it is definitely a pass. Thank you to the developer for providing the review key.
