HUGELY DISAPPOINTING: I own the original "Super Soccer Blast", and thought that this new title, "Super Soccer Blast: America vs Europe", would offer many improvements. Sadly, I was very wrong. After reading the very lacking information about what was new in this game, and after being ignored when I contacted the game developers to see what improvements there were, I thought I would chance it given the implications from its title that this game would have some Latin American clubs. The truth is, the few improvements which do exist do not merit a new game in its own right. This "new" game should solely have been a patch or upgrade to the original game. Here are the reasons why: * Teams - the number of additional teams is very limited indeed. The list of Nations is practically identical from what I can see, and in terms of "clubs" there are maybe about 8-10 added. This is extremely lazy of the developers. Given they are using fake team names and fake player names, they could have provided a decent roster of European, (South) American and World clubs to play with. But no, they could only be bothered to provide a handful of fake club and player names. * Kits - there is literally ONE new kit template to use over the original game, which is the "single diagonal stripe". ONE... Good news if you are a River Plate fan, a small consolation. However, there are glaringly obvious missing basic kit templates such as "Hoops"/"Horizontal Stripes". This means that if you want to create the kits of famous football clubs such as Sporting Clube de Portugal (aka Sporting Lisbon), Celtic, Flamengo and the mighty QPR, you cannot. Liking to make all the big clubs, I was hugely disappointed by this. But by anyoe's standards, ONE new kit design is very poor by the devs. * Graphics - I cannot see ANY differences to the graphics at all. No improvements. Sure, they have change the background pics on menu screens, but that is it. Again, very lazy. * Gameplay - there are actually a couple of minor gameplay improvements, but for this sort of game - an arcadey button basher - does that really matter? As I said, overall I was very disappointed, and the developers not replying to my correspondence was the icing on this shizzle cake. Whether you own the original or not, save your money. This is defo not worth it.

This is no exception. To begin with it was quite fun but I was soon able to win most games on hard difficulty against AI opponents. The game needs an online option to prolong interest or a group of friends interested in playing, therefore, the addition of remote play is a huge plus meaning only one of your group of friends needs to own the game whilst the rest can join in for free, but obviously a proper online option would be even sweeter. After playing through everything to offer, and getting all the achievements, I spent eight and a half hours in game which isn’t a bad investment for the asking price. With some impressive customization options, just about any tournament option you want can be catered for, including group stages and knockout stages. Unfortunately, there is no extra time or penalty shootouts which is very disappointing. Team names, player names, extensive player aesthetics, kit colors and badges can all be fiddled around with to make your players look comedic or athletic. The problem is that unless you use the close-up view whilst playing the changes don’t necessarily translate on the pitch and are hard to see. The fact that attributes don’t affect performance means you can make your players as ridiculous looking as you wish. I feel the game is a mixture of arcade and sim. You can put some nice ground passing moves together, if you choose a far away camera angle and can see your players on the pitch, yet the dribbling seems cumbersome with a stupid jumping mechanic, to avoid the onslaught of sliding tackles. There is a sprint button which can get you out of trouble, but defenders tend to rush you without warning when you’re running, and often tackle you successfully and steal the ball. For this reason, I was a bit reluctant to use it on higher difficulties. I was able to score swerving shots from outside the box into the top corner of the goal, which was quite satisfying, but the AI can also do the same and seem to be a lot better at it, scoring some ridiculous goals from some bizarre angles. I did have a bit of success with crossing the ball into the box from the wing which resulted in a few headed and volleyed goals. The through ball doesn’t seem to do what I was expecting. A through ball tends to be played into space, usually behind the defender, but it usually went to the feet of the player or slightly in front of them and opposition defences sat too far back for a proper through ball to be played anyway. The pace is quite frantic on higher difficulties and you have to move the ball quickly or else you will get tackled. On lower difficulties you can take your time and really experiment with some build up play. There aren’t any super moves to perform, like some arcade football games offer, but you can score some spectacular goals when you have time on the ball. There are some noticeably omissions, like no red or yellow cards for some absolutely brutal tackles, therefore no substitutions or injuries. I understand it is an arcade football game but it seems out of place when all of the other rules are obeyed; There is no commentary on any of the games, not even to introduce the teams; No replays on any of the goals; No formation change; The offside rule is either non existent or doesn’t work properly and there is no VAR to enforce this. Crowd noises are adequate but they seem a little disjointed with the action perhaps and there is no commentary or voice acting at all. Like other 'Blast' sports from Unfinished Pixel, the first Super Soccer Blast is highly regarded as having a nostalgic action-driven sports feeling. This sequel keeps the streak, taking from where the first game stopped and boosting content. Gameplay is basically the same, with the much needed improved AI from the last major updates, and so are graphics and the general cartoony art. Physics are slightly implemented (most notably the goalies that may punch the ball in any direction and concede corner kicks or even own goals, which in fact gives a better soccer feel to it) and the number of national and club teams is significantly improved, consequently the number of competitions - now giving some emphasis on Latin America as well as the name implies (tho there are a few African and Asian clubs as well). Its notorious creating/customizing tool is back too, once again brimming with options to create all kinds of real or funny teams with every known national or overseas territory flag known by mankind. In short, SSB:AvE, like its predecessor, is a true contender for best indie soccer game out there.

Il s'agit d'un "petit jeu" de foot arcade, donc ne pas s'attendre à la révolution en la matière mais le gameplay est fluide et rappel un peu les anciens sensible soccer 2d et 3d selon les phases de jeu. En Détails : Le Son La musique est sympa, entraînante, elle rappelle les grandes heures de la supernes dans l'état d'esprit. Le Sound design est sommaire mais plutôt propre pour ce qui est réalisé. Le Graphisme Là encore on fait simple mais c'est efficace, les animations de joueurs sont plutot bonnes et le jeu est bien lisible, les menus clairs pour une prise en main immédiate. Le Gameplay Au niveau des sensations de jeu j'ai été surpris, le jeu est très agréable à jouer pour peu qu'on ne cherche pas une simulation. En terme d'arcade le jeu se démarque par davantage de construction que l'on en trouve "en général" dans des jeux d'arcade avec lesquels il suffit de courir droit devant puis tirer. Ici il faudra construire bien qu'on puisse tout de même se la jouer à l'anglaise. Le panel des actions est sans fioriture mais ca fonctionne, le jeu est nerveux et "sérieusement arcade" pas de coups spéciaux ou autre... Le Contenu Quelques compétitions pré-faites / des matchs simples / et la possibilité de custo des competitions en championnat / coupe et tournois. On regrettera le manque d'équipes mais un éditeur est proposé qui nous permet de rajouter nos équipes, leurs couleurs et de composer nos joueurs comme on l'entend. EN REVANCHE Le bémole. Le jeu souffre de quelques défauts "majeurs", ca ne gâche pas le plaisir de jouer mais c'est un peu dommage pour un jeu de foot : - pas de replay lors des buts ? (c'est peut-être ca l'innovation du jeu par rapport aux autres jeux de foot.) - Le Keymapping ne permet pas de changer la touche qui est utilisée pour changer les menus de custo (touche inser si vosu la cherchez - pour par exemple, basculer sur l'onglet changer la couleur.) - Je n'ai pas trouvé de touche pour changer la formation tactique de l'équipe dans la custo, est-il simplement possible de le faire ? J'ai un doute. Pouvoir passer en 442 433 c'est la base ! - Pouvoir importer ses icones pour les blasons. Le fait de pouvoir changer les couleurs et les logos est une bonne chose mais il y a assez peu de modèles. - Rajouter les drapeaux de tous les pays tant qu'à faire ! Ou nous laisser la possibilité d'en ajouter nous même. - Un mode multijoueur en ligne. - L'iA est parfois un peu aux fraises (on à même eu droit à une scéance de penalty durant laquelle le gardien IA ne bougeait pas...) Mais bon c'est de l'arcade on va pas en demander trop. Le jeu s'offrirai déjà pas mal de crédit supplémentaire à régler/rajouter ces petites choses. En Conclusion Je recommande pour ceux qui se cherchent une petite tranche de plaisir foot sans se prendre la tête, ceux qui ont aimé sensible soccer (2d) et qui ont toléré sensible soccer 2006, le gameplay est très bon pour un jeu foot/arcade. Si les Développeurs rajoutent ce qu'il manque et retouchent un peu l'IA ce super blast pourrait se hisser dans le top de la catégorie. C'est tout pour moi ! This game is a 3D iteration of any NES soccer game (ultimate league soccer, kick and run, top strike, soccer85 etc) with the worst possible outcome. There is no stats, no formations, no replays and if you try anything but easy difficulty, the only way to win is to run the ball with one player all over the field. Don't bother, this will not scratch any itch of yours. Doesn't feel like a soccer game nor is a good arcade one.

if you spawn in 80s you most buy it, if you like footbal its your dutty buy it. The AI is not so creepel like its looks on YT vids, the theme song its BLASTING, i really wish devs keep work on it, faster movents, 2 0r 3 dribles, revienga. Just keep work on it. In concluion: Fifa/PES its what we have, "Soccer"(lol) Blast its what we need.

I bought this because I wanted to play women's soccer, this game prominently features a woman on the cover, and I want to support games that have gender representation. It turns out that in this game, all the teams, in all the tournaments and all the cups, are all men's teams. All the national teams, all the city clubs, every last one. So if you want to play women's soccer, it looks like you have to go through and manually create eleven new avatars for every team, one by one. Even then, this game does not include several nations traditionally strong in women's soccer, including Canada, Australia, and the United States (!!!). I don't understand. The developer already did the hard part of creating a bunch of character models and assets for women. Why not include at least a couple women's teams?
