suprisingly good little TD game

Love tower defense but this game just isnt it for me. Your towers feel incredibly weak, sometimes to a ridiculous degree where they're not even able kill enemies with a pixel of healthbar. Since the towers are defensless, you main defense relies on your special abilities. The game is challenging for sure, but its not rewarding on the contrary, as you feel pretty dissapointed of your towers the whole time. Sanctum 2 was able to create a better balance between tower strength and player strength imo. Additionally, the fact you can only bring 4 towers to each map and that a lot of them feel useless in certain situations, its more of a puzzle to figure out which towers to bring with you rather than to make an interesting strategy yourself.

Although I could not finish this game, as the difficulty just really ramps up in the second to last zone, I still had some fun with it and especially for the price of 5 dollar (without discount), I got my fill.

It's a very simple TD game. It has a reasonable difficulty level, but not a huge amount of depth to it. I did encounter one crash in ~2 hours, which was fine (the game autosaves progress) except it lost the meta level progress I'd accumulated which is already kinda slow to get. Otherwise no technical issues. Perfectly fine at the price, but nothing stand-out.

Tis another fine on the surface tower defence game, I certainly had a bit of fun the first 6 hours, however the boredom rises very fast with this game, i encountered a few crashes but on that I may expect it's my hardware, in my opinion(Cheapest of laptops) It expects you to grind the same levels over and over....and over to my surprise, more than some other TD games... Normal if forgotten fast and it transforms fast to hard without player consent. for bugger-all progress, smells a little like a pointless grind waste, good if your into that kind of patience and grind, not me though, personally I wont continue this through till the end, gets too boring early-on.(Can you see my specs?) Elicits an interest, end-result, a unfortunate disappointment.. for my personal opinion!

If Sanctum was a mobile game it'd be this. Good music. Low medium level difficulty? Let's just say you don't really need to change strategies too often which is kind of a shame for a TD game. Still it is well worth buying for 7 bucks especially if you're a fan of the Sanctum series.

world needs more td, something contemporary would be nice, the sci fi are the worst.. or popular themed ones. + some complexity. 3/5
