The game is fun, but very unpolished. The user interface is crude and unintuitive, and the controls are limited.

Tags: Sidescroll Shooter Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Homebrewed bulletsponges sidescroll shooter.Ressource management was tedious. Game feels padded. Pacing is slow. Audiovisuals are bottom tier. Xbox 360 pad was detected and working correctly. It has a day night/night cycle. Some surprising lighting effects on the 2D tiles.A few cutesy sprites for the protag/npcs. Your character flies around so no annoying platforming, you get a hub area to select your next mission from and shop with coins you collect. The shop items/character upgrades can be equipped and unequipped on the character menu RPG style and they affect combat behavior and help with game completion. There are 20 missions (or is that just world1), some with multiple rooms, and each room is usually between one and two screens large. You get specific room-related mini objectives before you can proceed. Not to mention that on the overall the sound managed not to be grating. Upon death you simply respawn at the hub with the ability to progress from your last completed mission. So.. why the disappointment? The animation work is mostly minimal and most enemies are very bland and forgettable. They are either squares or tiny turrets and look straight out of a flash game. Backgrounds and environments are also fairly forgettable. The story is forgettable and comes across as generic as they come, albeit with a sensitive/heartstrings slant to it, the combat mostly is staying out of range of ennemy and slowly pelting them with your longer range weapon until you can move forward. A lot of the upgrades I got were from killing everything I saw and they would not show up in the menu for me to equip or unequip, I am hoping they were auto-equipped as permanent buffs then but who knows. If you kill everything and get every coin the mini objectives become meaningless. Most annoying: It is often necessary to have bombs to progress forward and not be carrying any forcing irritating backtracking. You cannot buy those from the menu Not possible to aim in diagonal when shooting. Most of the level design is fairly uninventive get from point A to point B while clumsily shooting stuff from out of range and eeking your way forward. Game feels like it drags on about 10 missions in, perhaps because more rooms per missions are increased I am not sure. No matter how many time I tried using the menu to see inventory stuff it was always all blank even though the game said I was picking up upgrades and things Developper was man enough to admit that he messed the code up and could/would not fix this game up. Apparently saves corrupt and some features and whatnot do not work as intended. Conclusion: This is probably not a scam. I can tell that there is a game here. It is just not a very recommendable game. It is a waste of time to play. But definitely, as a first game from someone who had no obvious prior experience I can see that there is some ambition and desire to create something good here, and some hint of a talent to achieve it. It is just that, as a customer and someone with a ton of content that needs sorting, I have to label things in a manner that will absolve me of all guilt and second thoughts. This title clutters the library, does nothing truly original that sets it apart other than the very specific blend of floaty/metroid/item collection/checkpoints&hub thing its got going on. It did not earn its place in my permanent library.

这游戏真容易上瘾 GG
Bob is a force to reckon with but man does he have a hard road in front of him. Super Mega Bob may look generic on the cover but inside is a very challenging twin stick shooter. The game is played out through 32 stages on 5 different biomes. You pick a stage and it has certain goals you need to meet to complete it like: collect 12 coins or kill 6 enemies. Enemies drop scrap for upgrades and you may also get bonuses for completing a stage. This scrap and coins you collect are used to purchase upgrades that increase shot and movement speed, attack power, etc. There are also hats and uniforms you can buy that give you certain bonuses depending on which one you equip. This stuff is all needed as you progress through the game and the stages increase in difficulty. I made it to the fourth biome and have started to grow tired of the game and it's now a grindfest to earn enough scrap to unlock higher upgrade so I can complete the stages I'm on now. I'm not giving up yet as the game does give you a addiction to complete it. I recommend picking this up if you find it on sale, enjoy twin stick shooters, and like a good challenge. One issue I did experience and it is a pain is that the game locks up once and a while. Yiou can not alt+F4 it or close from task manager. I had to log out of my desktop to get it to close. Other than that it seemed to play fine for me. Remember don't judge a book by it's cover as there is a lot more here than it looks like. Update: I have completed all 160 levels and beat the final boss. From what it looks like is that you can only get the final boss if you beat at least all the levels on the last biome. Not sure if you have to beat them all on each biome. I had all the levels from the first three complete by the time I finished the fourth one.

Interesting mixture of platforming and twin stick shooting.
Very nice game
