;) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=746030501 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=746030516 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=746030531
This game has really great level design, and is generally well thought out. The mechanics are quite simple to grasp, but the masses of cubes provide quite a challenge in places, especially when you are also trying to avoid being teleported by the flashy cubes. If you like being a little guy in a buggy shooting things in a space ship, then I would highly recommend this game. Also has some platforming / puzzle elements. I have been following this project since Alpha and it's great to finally see it on Steam! A well polished and finished product.
Review powered by Mamilos Club Group.
To be fair this is one of the least buggy games I have encountered in the under 10 dollar indie section. The only real bug is the occasional enemy flying straight up into nothingness. It runs fine and the partial controller support may as well be listed as full controller support since everything functions well as far as I know of. That said, this game just doesn't really have anything of interest to me. The shooting is meh, your enemies are just a bunch of cubes that zerg you while you shoot them down. The "puzzles" are more along the lines of either get through timed obstacles to reach things to unlock doors or go across a bunch of timed platforms that lead in different paths until you find the right path. It all feels very lackluster, even falling to your death is just a slow fall down and then the music does a mini fade out and resets. I mean, at least give me some kind of sound when I fall off. I was expecting something more musical or rhythmic like beat hazard or crypt of the necrodancer but honestly the background sounds pretty awful half the time and beside some obstacles that move and make a sound when they move there isn't really much rhythm required. "Player generated procedural music" hasn't really seemed to be a thing yet, especially if you consider that the maps are all predesigned levels and you can't input music I'm not entirely sure how "player generated procedural music" would even be possible beside the sound of you shooting enemies. The game description on steam talks describes the setting as a place where "the most peculiar and unfortunate of events have occurred." But beside the plot actually written in the steam description there isn't much to find. In the game itself all I could find were these nodes in game which would open an image with some pictures and some stuff that's supposed to be alien language or something. All in all, couldn't keep my attention in any way, so not recommended.
Fun game!!! Great music!!!
Interesting,But This Game Needs Attention,I Think Is An Abandoned Project... But If They Can Resolve Some Bugs, It Will Be Excelent
https://youtu.be/hV6jlsFIHJk Shooting through armies of variously colored cubes searching for switches in dark maze like levels offers only limited amounts of engagement for players.
Really solid and underrated game. It's not a masterpiece but it IS good. I really enjoy the rhythm aspect and how each time you fire it magically fits into as part of the soundtrack and how parts of the environment revolve around music. It makes for a really satisfying and euphoric gameplay. the gameplay is pretty simple but it doesn't feel like it needs to be any more complicated. Regardless, I feel as if it should've had maybe one or three extra mechanics to work against. Oh also I really love the visuals. The hud is very minimal and nice, the environments have a great look to them, and the cube aspect is charming. I wouldn't call this a must buy, but it's definitely a solid game that I will find myself coming back to time to time
