Doesn't feel good to play unfortunately. Movement is floaty, the sense of scale is all off with giant environments and tiny enemies, my starter gun and melee weapon just don't work sometimes, and the shading gets straining fast.
8/10 Great Movement CONS: - Considerably Short. The price reflects this, though. - "Thor WHO??" was a very annoying achievement.
i’ll be coming back to this game when i actually have the motivation to get thru the tutorial got it for very cheap during the boomstock sale, so i’m just gonna play it when i’m bored and explore more stuff since you don’t unlock the other levels until after the tutorial. the artstyle is really unique though, and it feels like your character is on the moon like when he jumps he comes down slow and it’s just feels like anti-gravity kinda. the game is weird but fun you should buy it because why not.
I am a random reviewer on steam And I, am BUFF
It's really funny, you should definetly try it
Da fudge did i just cleared ?... A weird take on boomer shooter genre with weird graphics but somehow decent soundtracks (sadly not immersive). Its sort of a no brainer and i didn't understand the connection between levels. There was a few issue tho, sometimes there probably was way too much thing on the screen at the same times the FPS dropped drastically since it use Unreal Engine. (most game tend to lag on this engine) Also arriving at a certain segment of a
spaceship
level you'll get destroyed by too much thing shooting at you without any time to react... (was funny tho) beside those its alright if you enjoy game that doesn't take itself too seriously... (oh and beware of its length, its short but it encourage scores and times attack)
Honestly, this is a weird, short little shooter and I think you should give it a shot. ngl, that floaty movement never quite clicked with me but I enjoyed going through the levels and working around it anyways. This game's got a lot of fun arenas and jokes to throw your way and you'll enjoy going through it, even just once.
It's a fun time, and pretty damn weird (in the good way). Now with inverted mouselook for us sickos! Oh and the Halloween update is excellent.
At the time of this review, there are 45 other reviews which should be a sin. Superbuff is simple but for the price, it's a steal. Played it on the steamdeck and it was a blast. Expect a bite-sized and overly gamified power fantasy with an absolutely awesome artstyle.
