I think the developer of this game wanted to play something like it since he was a young kid, an open super hero/villian scroller that you can get in and out of quickly before school. I have enjoyed it for wht little it is at the moment, keep it alive and it will be a great small game for every super hero fans' library.

I don't really understand the objective. With a little more signposting, this could end up being excellent. As it is now, however, confusing, so I can't recommend in its current state. One to watch.

Watch me try to play the game... and fail... horribly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfdDEcxdFFY PROS: The game is in Alpha, so there's hope for issues to be fixed along the way if the game developer is willing to. It has some potential to be a good game if enough work is put into it. CONS: Since the game is in Alpha, you will inevitably find A LOT of bugs as you play and some are even game-breaking! The UI's a mess, sound settings don't save upon entering the game, graphics don't really help much with the game's image, and there's no real tutorial so you're stuck trying to figure out the game yourself. I'm not saying the game is hopeless, I mean, I've seen MUCH WORSE games than this but I think it'll take some real dedication from the game dev to make this a decent game. Good luck to the game dev btw! P.S. If the game dev needs advice, first off, you should probably change the font of ALL the text from Arial to the other one that you used (the font of the main menu UI). Arial feels very out of place and makes the game look more Alpha than it should.
me gusto
Ni entiendo de que va ni si quiera si tiene historia o no, no me gusta el tipo de videojuego porque no tiene sentido para mi.
Niestety, ale ta gra nie jest super xd
This game weird as hell for real, i have no clue what to do lmao
Super is an abandoned Early Access 2D retro pixel platformer. This differs from most of the literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers in that an attempt was made to create some kind of cartoony 2D retro pixel comic book out of the game, but it doesn't really work out and tends to be more confusing than properly playable or interesting. At least they tried, by adding dynamic world elements and adventure game components to the game. The game only supports 4:3 aspect ratio (obsolete decades ago), so presumably the game was made using a CRT monitor from the 1990's found in a dumpster. Appropriately, then, the choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked and can't be changed, and there's no visual or graphics tweaks, so there's no way to improve the very lazy, mediocre visuals. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for many differently-abled gamers. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game was abandoned roughly 2-3 months after being dumped on Steam in an incomplete state, once more Valve's Early Access program has resulted in incomplete trash polluting the store, rather than allowing games of high quality to be completed by sincere developers. But it's not all bad, there were at least some clever ideas here, just no apparent capacity to deliver them properly. The game was intended to be completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises.
