About

Cleru comes from a beautiful archipelago of clouds, and travels down to the surface to find cool stuff and help out their friends. Explore the world, meet other sunfluffs and moonfloofs, and just exist for a while.

Cleru can pull fruit out of any container, as long as nobody can prove the fruit wasn't just there to begin with. Toss berries at grumpy critters to cheer them up! Jump around vibrant environments, wear lots of colorful clothing, and try your best to help out the mysterious Lightbearer.

make sure to take a picture of any cool animals you find! Cleru keeps a detailed journal of every kind of bird, dog, and rabbit.

this is a stress-free game, with no difficult inputs, no list of quests or achievements, and no failure condition. Spend as long as you want to take in all the sights, and progress the story at your own pace.

it is impossible for me to love any game as much as I love Sunfluffs. i mean that. i love just walking around and interacting with the space and existing in this sweet, peaceful place. it's very warm. it's very honest. it's a place i wanna be. being chronically disabled, it's hard to describe how much i appreciate the caring approach to accessibility and stress-free play that Sunfluff aims for, hitting the mark perfectly. Sunfluffs is the fluffiest and squishiest toy box you could ever play with. it's like a birthday cake you can plug a gamecube controller into and play. it's. kind of everything i could want from any game. i cherished every second of all four of the currently available chapters. if you look at the store page and any of this at all appeals to you, please pick it up! even in early access there is plenty here to sink your teeth into, carefully crafted and well-worthy of your support. if you catch me gassing something up it's because it really does mean that much to me—the kind of experience so good, it makes you want to go out there and create, too. if not create, just... exist! thank you Azure and Alice for making a game i will treasure forever. i've had so much fun in this world. i'll be supporting you with all my heart! <3
very very fun fluffy cute platform puzzle game. if you play it and feel like you dont vibe with it right away, pleeeease play until you get to chapter 2. chapter 2 is where the real game charm starts. think of chapter 1 as a tutorial for understanding the controls. You can rush through chapter 1. but 2 is where the meat of the game starts.
I will admit I am easily impressed by this kind of speculative fiction. Give me an internally consistent, well thought out fantasy world with a totally unique vibe like this and I'm hooked. I had way too much fun working out how like, the numbers worked in this game. Just brilliant stuff. It helps a lot that it's a really nice world to hang out in, a great example of a vaguely post-scarcity utopia where things still go wrong nonetheless. And the writing is of course great. Genuinely quite funny in parts and lots of cute little details (including the expected queer animals, but also some stuff for which good representation is much rarer!). Also, despite the calm exterior, there are moments of genuine excitement here. This game knows how to put on a good dramatic set piece. Obvious caveats with this being early access at time of writing apply; there's not a huge amount here for the price yet, though I'm sure I could squeeze more time out of it yet (and probably will). What is here is very high quality, though, and I choose to believe that the developers will be able to see this one through, so, up to you if it's worth it. Personally I have no regrets.
it's like you took a vacation to the nicest place ever where everyone is great and you're great and life is beautiful
this is the most adorable game I've played, I really enjoyed the first two chapters and can't wait for the next ones!
Another game from Nuclear Strawberry bursting with creative energy and charming characters, leaving me with a world I seriously want to live in; I'm eagerly awaiting more!
A lovely little casual platformer that blends together some light Metroidvania and collectathon elements into its mix. Boss fights are all good silly fun, and you are encouraged to take pictures of literally everything you see in order to get the sweet deets on all of the lore. The presentation is delightfully charming, it feels like a game plucked right out of your gamecube, way back in the early 2000's. There's no real pressure to collect or complete anything, which I'm sure will frustrate some players looking for more of a challenge, but ultimately this is not that kind of game. Despite that, however, the platforming and abilities you have still allow for some very fun gameplay - The clock tower is a standout section for me so far. As of writing only the first two chapters are available, yet the playtime within (notably in chapter 2) is quite decent already. I will likely be back to expand upon my thoughts here when later chapters release. As for right now? It's a lovely little experience where you can step into another world with a fun and quirky ecosystem of animals and lingo, some lovely tunes that have a hint of dynamics to them (I love when games do that) and delightful serotonin-producing shiny lights and sparky gemstones. Definitely worth keeping an eye on for now.
Sunfluffs is off to a fantastic start, and for a two-person team Nuclear Strawberry is punching well above their weight. Chapters 1 and 2 are packed with loads of creative locations to explore and encounters to have. The music and visuals were lovely. The set pieces capping off each chapter surprised and delighted me, and blew my expectations out of the water. There is an extremely evident commitment to and care for a high level of quality in just about everything in this game. It was a little tough to figure out what to do at first, but there really is no pressure in the game at all to get started, and by the time it matters you'll have your bearings. The platforming physics did not feel as empowering as I feel I'm used to from faster-paced platformers, but once I slowed down a little it played great. I have no complaints! Excited to see the rest.
Damn . . . this game healed my soul a little. I'm a big fan of CopyKitty so I bought this game asap, I knew it would be a much more chill experience but I didn't expect to get so drawn into the little world inside this game, the atmosphere and aesthetics of the levels are top notch and it all feels like a lived in little world, especially with all the little animals that roam around, the characters are all super sweet and really likeable which helps to draw you in further and to top it all off, the gameplay is super super tight and snappy and there are these really unexpected action set pieces that break up the pace of the game, super cool stuff. the photography aspects is really really enjoyable too, getting just the right photograph for the album is quite satisfying. Seriously enjoyed this game and I really can't wait to see what comes next.
this game is truly amazing. i've been a fan of the devs' work since copy kitty, and this game excels as much as its older sibling. from the beautifully stylized 3d environments, to the silly and quirky characters and creatures, this game oozes personality. there's also amazing attention to detail throughout the whole game! the gameplay is engaging enough, but it's definitely not the focus here, but i think that's perfectly fine here! the music is great, the story is fun (especially holds intrigue for those who looked deeper into copy kitty and the devs' side content), and it plays well on controller. but above all, it exudes cozy vibes! it's great for just leaving on a screen as a screensaver of sorts,,, also taking pictures is pretty fun too! you'll get a little blurb for each creature you snap, as well as for a few characters! i personally can't wait for the rest of the game!! now, of course there are a few imperfections, but most of them are fine. the only real issue is that this game will not run on linux without some crazy workarounds. however, i've been able to get it to run, i'll be posting instructions on the relevant forum thread soon. since i have a method that does not require using a terminal, it may even be steam deck friendly. and yes, this is why i barely have any time in the game at the time of writing, i promise i've spent a lot more time in the game that steam just can't track. anyways, great game! [strike]and not just because my sona is in it lmao[/strike]
