I played this game with my friend, and IF YOU WANT TO PISS OF your friend then this game is perfect for you. BE WARN YOU NEED TO HAVE SKILLS TO PLAY THIS GAME, if you don't want to be the one who is going to be bullied.
It was working on M3 Mac with keyboard, right through until Level 5, but now the movements stick, where he'll keep moving or jumping without hitting the key, and his sumo moves will quit working. I have to keep restarting the game. I tried remapping the keys but it does the same thing.
caseoh simulator?
Sumoman is one of those rare platformers that builds its entire identity around a single unusual idea and manages to make it work. Developed by Tequilabyte Studio and published by Tequilabyte Studio together with ESDigital Games, the game places players in control of an oversized sumo wrestler who must save a world trapped in an unexplained slumber. While the premise sounds simple and humorous, it serves as the foundation for a surprisingly engaging adventure filled with physics-driven challenges, environmental puzzles, and moments of genuine comedy. Instead of relying on fast-paced action or complex storytelling, Sumoman focuses on delivering a memorable gameplay experience through unconventional movement and creative level design. The story begins when the protagonist discovers that everyone around him has mysteriously fallen asleep. As the only individual left awake, he embarks on a journey to uncover the source of this strange event and restore normality. The narrative is not especially deep, but it provides enough motivation to carry players through the adventure. More importantly, the lighthearted tone fits perfectly with the game's whimsical nature, allowing the focus to remain on exploration, platforming, and the often hilarious consequences of controlling such a large and cumbersome hero. Movement is the heart of the experience, and it is intentionally designed to feel challenging. Unlike traditional platforming protagonists who can leap effortlessly across gaps and climb obstacles with precision, the sumo wrestler feels heavy, awkward, and subject to realistic physical forces. Every jump requires consideration, every climb demands balance, and every mistake can result in a spectacular tumble. This unusual control scheme initially feels strange, but it gradually becomes one of the game's greatest strengths. Success feels earned because overcoming obstacles requires genuine understanding of the character's weight and momentum. A standout mechanic is the ability to rewind time. Given the unpredictable nature of the physics system, this feature proves invaluable throughout the adventure. Rather than forcing players to repeat long sections after a mistake, the rewind function allows immediate correction of failed jumps, accidental falls, or poorly timed movements. This mechanic strikes an excellent balance between challenge and accessibility. Players remain free to experiment with risky approaches without worrying about severe punishment, which encourages creativity and keeps frustration to a minimum. The level design consistently finds new ways to test the player's mastery of movement. Players encounter moving platforms, hazardous environments, intricate climbing sections, and puzzles that require careful manipulation of objects. Because the protagonist is so physically unique, even familiar platforming concepts feel fresh. The game regularly introduces new situations that require players to rethink how they approach movement, helping maintain variety across the entire campaign. The physics system also influences how players interact with the environment. The hero's size and strength allow him to push heavy objects, break through obstacles, and solve environmental challenges that smaller characters could never handle. These interactions reinforce the central concept and ensure that the protagonist feels distinct from typical platform game heroes. The game consistently builds its challenges around the idea of controlling a powerful yet unwieldy character, creating a cohesive experience from beginning to end. Visually, Sumoman embraces a colorful and cheerful style that complements its playful gameplay. The environments are bright and imaginative, filled with exaggerated scenery and charming details that make exploration enjoyable. While the graphics are relatively simple by modern standards, they possess a personality that suits the game's tone. The protagonist's animations are particularly effective, often generating humor through exaggerated movements and awkward physical reactions that make even simple actions entertaining to watch. Sound design further supports the experience. The soundtrack maintains an upbeat atmosphere throughout the adventure, while sound effects emphasize the hero's weight and physical presence. Every impact, stumble, and successful maneuver carries satisfying audio feedback, helping players feel connected to the character and the environment. The music may not be particularly memorable on its own, but it successfully enhances the overall mood. One of the most appealing aspects of Sumoman is its sense of humor. The game never takes itself too seriously, and many of its funniest moments arise naturally through gameplay. Failed jumps, accidental collisions, and unexpected physics interactions often create situations that are as entertaining as they are challenging. This ability to turn failure into amusement helps distinguish the game from more demanding platformers that can become frustrating after repeated mistakes. However, the same mechanics that make the game unique can also become a source of irritation. Players seeking precise controls and highly responsive movement may struggle with the intentionally awkward physics. Certain sections require patience and persistence, and there will inevitably be moments when the character behaves in ways that feel unpredictable. Fortunately, the rewind feature significantly reduces these frustrations and allows the game to remain enjoyable despite its challenging nature. Sumoman ultimately succeeds because it fully embraces its unusual premise and builds every aspect of the experience around it. The combination of physics-based platforming, environmental puzzles, creative level design, and a clever time-rewind system creates a game that feels refreshingly different from many of its peers. Its humor, charm, and originality help compensate for occasional frustrations, resulting in an adventure that is both memorable and entertaining. Players willing to adapt to its unconventional mechanics will discover a distinctive platformer that delivers plenty of laughs and satisfying challenges along the way. Rating: 8/10
