Decathlon and Summer Games, whoever knows these, should buy this game immediately. You'll be pushing the buttons of your mouse like a mad man, until your fingers hurt, and much further. You'll also try to get the high scores for whatever reason and it's also fun to play with your buddies. Just try it :) Would buy it again, would play it again, even if I have to buy yet another new mouse...
A great sports compilation with 12 sport games: Spear throwing, Hammer throwing, Shot put, Archery, Hurdling, 100 Meter Run, 800 Meter Run, Relay Race, Long jump, High jump, Pole vault and Weightlifting. You can compete in 12 tournaments with different difficulty degrees - and of course practise any sport. The graphics are comic style and fun and it´s nice for adults and kids to play. The controlls are sometimes a bit in need of getting used to it - but I guess, that the game was designed for console also. I had a lot of fun playing against my brother and against Computer ... and I can imagine that many people who already played similar sports simulations on Wii, PS4 or Switch, will also love this game.
Fajna gra dla dzieciaków, niestety zbyt prosta i powtarzalna aby zagrać więcej niż kilka razy
Its a nice game, BUT for me the biggest flaw is the controls are not consistant through the events, Take the 100m your clicking the mouse button like crazy then on the 400m hurdles your not controling the speed but just a speed boost. Also whilst it portrays as Summer sports, there are no swimming, cycleing or diving sports
A Fantastic Family Friendly Olympic Games(esc) Sports experience suitable for the whole family! 1P against AI or up to 4 player in local MP. It's fun, it's easy to learn & as a family we enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do5-7fTpHxc
If you ever need a game that two people can play against each other just to settle a squabble, especially between young siblings, Summer Sports Games is definitely that game! It's a family-friendly sports-oriented game that contains a ton of mini-games designed to fit various sports events such as long jump, high jump, 100m sprints, and more. These mini-games aren't exactly too difficult but they will most definitely put your reflexes and your quick-clicking ability to the test. Naturally, some games are easier than others and there are a few where instructions aren't clear enough or are not provided, but if you've played the other mini-games within the game, you'll be able to figure things out quickly enough! The game comes with individual sports events that you can practice against the AI in. If you're feeling up for it, you can try to beat the AI or another player at the tournament where you'll have to go through every sports events available in the game and you'll be given points depending on where you rank on the leaderboard. Of course, you can always challenge yourself further by trying to hit that "Perfect" rating each time just so you can break records and earn your achievement. However, like another reviewer had mentioned, although there are already tons of sports events here, I would have loved to play a swimming or cycling mini-game. Maybe the dev could add those in for this game or a sequel or turn it into a DLC or something?
Watch me play!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHUSjOrQuQQ
Overall
Summer Sports Games is an interesting assortment of fun mini-games that is suitable for the entire family. It's all about the reflexes and how fast you can click in this game, and if you can do both pretty well, you should be able to best the many AI opponents of various difficulty levels in the game. It's a fun little game to play on the side and not exactly something I'd (as an adult) be investing 5 or even 10 hours into, but who knows? You might just make the day for the young 'uns in your family by buying a copy of this game for them to play! Funny game with friends xD
"Summer Sports Games" Reviewed By: Carless Yen Publisher: Joindots GmbH Developer:Joindots GmbH Platform:PC Summer Sports Games is a Olympic sports title that is pretty much geared for the entire family. It has multiple skill levels so it can be enjoyed by every one. It also has up to four player mode as well so no one is left out. You take part in so many different events. I'll name them all below. - Javelin Throw - Hammer Throw - Shot Put - Archery - 100m Run - 400m Hurdles - 400m Run - Relay - Long Jump - High Jump - Pole Vault - Weightlifting The controls for all of them are very easy to learn and master, and really add up to a lot of fun for everyone. You can even use the mouse with very easy to handle left and right mouse button smashing. May have to throw a arrow key in there every once in awhile, but really fun and simple. I had a blast with this title.Archery is probably my favorite. You have to adjust to the wind and everything. Game really takes me back to the days of Track and Field on the NES. I didn't struggle with any events, and had no issues at all. It runs smoothly rather your playing single player or multiplayer. I really recommend this to families that like to play together on PC. I also think it is great for all ages. I think it looks great, the characters and level design all look really good. i wish I could create my own athletes though. I loved the sounds and music they fit in well with the overall experience. There isn't a whole lot to be said It is everything you'd expect from a game like this. Lot of button smashing, and precise timing to nail the angles or jumps. I think if you enjoyed Track and field on the Nintendo or arcade this is going to be played a lot and belong in your gaming library. Pros: Runs smooth, and so are the controls Looks and sounds like a modern Track and Field Tons of events Up to four player versus play Cons: Wish you could create your own character Was hoping for even more events like some below. Skeet Shooting Fencing Triple Jump Swimming Overall: 7.2 I can honestly say even though I'd like to see a few more events, this was most fun I've had with an Olympic games title since wearing out controllers and fingers on the NES , and I hope the keep adding and updating it making it even better.
