Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 29 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Игра отвратительного качества
12 лет назад вышел “Hollow Bodies” от Blessthefall! Альбом вышел в 2013 году на Fearless Records и в первую же неделю влетел в Billboard 200 на 15 место. Продюсером стал легендарный Joey Sturgis (тот, что делал Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men). В “Hollow Bodies” залетели куча гостей: Джейк Лурз из August Burns Red в “Carry On” Джесси Барнетт из Stick To Your Guns в “Youngbloods” И, внимание, Lights в “Open Water”.

I know very little about what happened behind the scenes to this game but I do remember playing it and enjoying it. It's still in my steam library though, even after FranticDreamer said that they were removing it from people's libraries. So I'm confused.

Sullen: Light is Your Friend is a small-scale survival horror experience that leans heavily into atmosphere, isolation, and minimalist tension. Set within a dense and foreboding forest, the game builds its identity around a simple but effective premise: you enter a remote woodland area in search of a missing friend who vanished under mysterious circumstances. The title’s emphasis on light as both protection and guidance forms the conceptual backbone of its design, reinforcing the vulnerability that defines much of the experience. The narrative begins with a cryptic call from a journalist friend who has disappeared while investigating strange events in the forest. Motivated by concern and unanswered questions, the protagonist ventures into the woods, armed with little more than a flashlight and determination. Storytelling unfolds subtly through environmental cues rather than lengthy exposition. There are no extended cutscenes or heavy dialogue sequences; instead, tension is built through exploration and implied danger. The forest itself becomes the primary storyteller, offering hints of what may have happened while withholding clear answers. Gameplay centers on careful navigation through dimly lit terrain. Visibility is intentionally limited, forcing players to rely on their flashlight and ambient light sources. Darkness is not merely aesthetic but mechanical—venturing too far into unlit areas heightens vulnerability and disorientation. This reliance on light reinforces the game’s central theme: illumination is safety, and the absence of it breeds uncertainty. The pacing is slow and deliberate, encouraging cautious movement and heightened awareness of surroundings. The forest environment is designed to feel oppressive and disorienting. Narrow pathways, foggy clearings, and shadowed tree lines create a sense of claustrophobia despite the open setting. Visual fidelity is modest, yet the use of lighting and sound compensates for graphical simplicity. Ambient audio plays a crucial role in sustaining tension, with distant rustling, subtle environmental shifts, and moments of silence that amplify unease. The absence of constant musical accompaniment allows natural soundscapes to dominate, enhancing immersion. Encounters with threats are sporadic rather than constant, which aligns with the game’s slow-burn horror approach. Instead of overwhelming players with continuous action, the design focuses on unpredictability. The uncertainty of when danger might appear creates sustained anxiety. Resource management is minimal but present, reinforcing survival elements without overcomplicating the mechanics. This streamlined approach keeps the experience focused on atmosphere rather than intricate systems. However, the game’s minimalist design also introduces limitations. Narrative depth remains relatively shallow, with limited character development and sparse lore. While the environmental storytelling establishes mood effectively, it may leave some players wanting clearer explanations or more structured progression. The mechanics themselves are straightforward, and without significant variation in objectives or enemy behavior, extended play sessions can feel repetitive. Despite these constraints, Sullen: Light is Your Friend succeeds in crafting an intimate horror experience driven by mood and vulnerability. It does not attempt to compete with large-scale survival horror titles but instead offers a contained exploration of fear rooted in darkness and isolation. For players who appreciate indie horror experiments that prioritize tension over spectacle, it provides a focused and atmospheric journey into uncertainty. Rating: 5/10
