Sugardew Island - Your cozy farm shop

IMPORTANT: I'd ONLY recommend if it is on sale. Full price seems a bit much for what you get. It's fine? I got it in a charity bundle, otherwise I would not have purchased. I have heard bad things so I wasn't sure but I decided to give it a try, It's not bad, It's just pretty simple. I do find the gameplay loop enjoyable, I didn't come in with high expectations. Good if you're just trying to kill some time or wind down. I'll probably work on 100% just because it's there, and it isn't difficult, it satisfies my brain's desire to achieve a goal. And the animals are cute. If I were to recommend a change that would increase the games value without reworking the mechanics or adding areas, I would suggest leaning more into decoration, so while you're farming, you can make your farm cuter and change your house/barn areas. There is SOME but it isn't alot. An update to add more decor would be nice... though I doubt it will happen.

A cute, relaxing farming / shop game, like an easy mix between Harvest Moon / Stardew Valley farming and Moonlighter / Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale shop owning. Short and sweet, a nice game to play when you just wanna take it easy.

This is a turn off your brain and enjoy. Very straightforward and simple. There is zero complication, some might find it boring. Works with a controller but has issues with my SN30 8Bitdo one. There is still some smooth over details they can work on but thats the norm lately. The only thing thats kind of weird is the walking animation for your character kind of has a bowleggs walk.

Cute and cozy farming game. I liked that it was shorter than more open world ones, and I especially liked selling goods at the store. The more structured tasks were also fun to complete. I have played Stardew, Fields of Mistria, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, and many more, and this brings something different to the table!

Its a fun cozy game with good and bad things
