About

After a massive meteor strikes the icy surface of Titan, nothing is left but a vast deposit of rare minerals. The TECC mining company rushes to establish a colony on Titan and successfully tap the riches, until the colony goes dark. It takes years to mount a salvage expedition to the far flung moon of Saturn, so make it count. Restart the flow of resources and figure out what happened to the first wave of colonists.
Stand between the sole survivors of Camp Huygens and total obliteration by Saturn's darkest mysteries. Every turn counts in the desperate struggle for survival, as Titan will not wait around - and neither should you.

Titan is an unrelenting dynamic, persistent world. Every action and step advances time and brings Camp Huygens closer to collapse, unless someone intervenes.
Help surviving colonists with their tasks, assign key jobs, harvest materials, and organize crafting stations to keep the doom at bay.
Manage food and water intake, keep tabs on oxygen and energy levels, and treat any sustained injuries, all while penetrating the abandoned mining tunnels beneath the surface.
Track the passage of time efficiently or it might turn out that the greatest threat to Camp Huygens isn't Titan or its monsters... but you!

Unearth the mysteries of Saturn's most famous moon and go deep beneath its surface to face off against its many horrors.
Fight the monstrosities using intuitive, brisk turn-based combat. Do you make the fight close and personal, risking death as you go toe to toe? Or plink from afar, hoping that ammo won't run out at the wrong time?
Harness the power of nanomachines to unleash devastating abilities against foes, but also sacrifice the ability to physically pummel monsters into submission?
Gain experience and power alongside the celestial creatures underground. Evolve and adapt tactics, or perish in the darkness of Titan's mines!

Craft an endless array of items thanks to a small handful of allies like weapons and elbow grease.
Salvage what you can, break it down into materials, and produce tools like melee weapons, firearms, protective gear, explosives, and countless survival upgrades.
Enhance yourself with medical supplies and continue research to develop even better versions.
Survive long enough to unearth the terrible truth of what happened to the first wave of colonists or find a way to get off the doomed moon, no one said you get both...

You know how in movies and manga the concept is good but you are stuck with a spineless protagonist that lets everyone walk all over them despite him holding all the cards in his hand? This is simular, you are a newcomer in an isolated starving camp cut off from civilization and the only one whose magic mutation allows to venture into monster territory to bring back food and resources, and yet everyone talks you down, extorts you and takes advantage of you, your landlord threatens to kick you out of your room, the starving merchants want payment for equipment that only you can use to fight off the monsters and bring them back supplies. The mine foreman convinces you to shut up and pay his debts in his place or he will cut off your access to the monster territory and have all of you starve to death if you dare negotiate a reward for being monster bait, and for some reason his colleagues do not just lynch him here and there. Nothing about the setting makes sense, but the spineless hero is not my main problem with the game, which is the durability in all equipment... that you repair by using repair kits that deplete the max durability of the items that will break even more. And the janky as fk movement that lags, statters, pauses mid combat cause your every step is a combat round and your movement signifies the end of your turn passing the turn to your foes, forcing you to recommand the movement after that as the monsters move and your previous movement command gets canceled. The npcs also stroll around and trying to catch the quest givers to talk to them as they run through corridors and descend to other floors is equally frustrating as getting hit 5 times by acid spitting 1 hit mobs roaming in cklusters before you can reach them, depleting the durability of your equipment before you have a chance to even look at them. It is a pity because the art is gorgeous and there is a lot of rpg elements such as perks and core stat leveling up, archetypes that would have made this a solid game if not for the afformentioned movement controls and grind.
6/10 Game Gameplay loop was decent and the hand crafted maps were a decent touch when I was referred to this as a cross between Stoneshard and QuasiMorph, of which both used procedurally generated maps. Unfortunately, this game had game breaking bugs for some insane reason whereas the other two still not officially released do not have any. Twice in 1-hour on the 7th floor my character straight up froze after using an ability. I thought I glitched into an object & was stuck but it happened again when I used a ranged attack and just froze in the middle of the open. Nothing I could do could fix it and I was forced to reload a few hours back each time. Story to be honest is kind of mediocre. Most characters were bland. We are the chosen one essentially and the only source of new materials to the camp but we still have to pay for food and to make new items despite that if we die the camp would straight up starve to death in a month. Camp guards were useless even when we faced daily invasions to the camp generator which if destroyed meant the end of us all. We actually had to pay out of pocket and make our own defenses while the security just do nothing. Quests try to make us like the characters but it really didn't salvage anything. During the end credit scenes we get a look up at each character of which we only interacted with half of. Itemization was way off. Most items unlocked late game that required back tracking were straight up useless when compared to even the 2nd to 3rd worst weapons you can craft. Very bland items to fit your build as you are forced into basically the same items every run. Enemies regenerated way too fast to make certain items and tactics genuinely viable so its a damage race every fight. Best found item in the game the plasma launcher which had to be assembled & basically can't be repaired had a 3 turn cool down but it does so low damage that it needs 2-3 shots for a normal end game enemy, of which I can take down with a level appropriate weapon in the same amount of hits. Enemy designs were decent but they almost all fight actually the same way. Boss fights were a chore with HP sponge health bars and do crazy little damage, most random spawning enemies at the end game deal the same if not more damage. Fights were super boring to have with all you do is click an enemy to attack with no need for a tactical approach most of the time. You are completely screwed if you didn't clock in that you need a ranged and a melee weapon & tried to be 100% either. Two handed & rifles were utterly superior to pistole & one handed to a crazy degree you had to be insane to pick the latter two. Multiple parts of the game were incredibly shallow for no reason. You had the ability to manually assign power but have enough power a few hours into the game that you can keep everything maxed out. Camp resources like food were tracked but according to the developers even if they were empty they would just slow things down as the NPCs would collapse every now and then. You had invisible walls blocking you from going off camp map rather than actual reasons to not leave. Game developers should decrease the scope of future games and try to have them make sense in story wise. They were too ambitious and it showed.
Its a lot of explanation of the mechanics at the start, but once it gets going I really enjoyed this. I am going to be putting a lot of hours into this game.

I've played the first game, and wasn't very satisfied with some elements and the overall feel leaning more into that grind'n'production sentiment. There was little focus on exploration or combat — both were very basic. I feel like this second installment has improved considerably on all the previous shortcomings. Nice combat perks, careful exporation tends to provide you with powerful equipment, and there are even some light exploration-riddles. It's still a very similar grind materials - research - produce stuff game, but somehow, here it all works much more enticingly so. Initially, I've encountered a bug that got the game stuck at the end of the tutorial. I solved it with some basic IT troubleshooting (namely graphics setting in exe's compatibility) and also some help from the forums. Other than that, I've not seen other bugs. I recommend this. It's really as good a sequel as they should be.
Score: n/a I spend 8 minutes in an infinite loading screen on my first attempt to open the game. Second attempt had strong lag, but I got to the home screen within 2 minutes. Loading a new game took too long, with some lag. Whoever designed the dialogue system to require you to press a key or left click with mouse in order to progress to the next screen with what should be new lines of dialogue, only to get a new dialogue screen where you have to press the designated key or mouse click to for the only option, "Continue," should be fired and get out of the video game industry entirely. The writing is between decent and mind-numbingly awful, but without spelling or grammatical errors. Music/audio/SFX are good. Visuals / art style / art direction are good. Although the game is functional, I can't think of many games that offered me an experience more unpleasant than Red Faction 2, but this just made the list.
The game starts off a bit slow, but opens up substantially as you progress into the story. This is an RPG with a story you actually care about. It's heavy on text, so be prepared to read paragraphs often. The writing is good but not great. Overall the atmosphere and game mechanics make this RPG feel really fun and provide plenty of depth and customization. 8/10
