Modern take on the original 90s classics. Additional modes and gameplay make it more fun for lot longer. The improved graphics are a nice tough. I do however, hate the fact once completed, it doesn't have an end cut scene like in the original games, which I found rather disappointing. Looking forward to a potential sequel.

Best nostalgia trip ever. This Beat Em Up side scroller instantly transported me to my childhood with modern anime graphics and also the good old 16 bit graphics. While the modern sountrack sounded nice, the ability to switch to the 16 bit tracks is gold. The best soundtrack of this game genre of the 90s, Bought the base game + expansion bundle during a sale, and played it several times with my kid. The very next day, my kid came to me asking to play it together again. You don't get much of this side by side playing experience these days with modern games. Nothing can replace the co-op in the same room experience, that's the essence of fun. Not forgetting that there's a lot of replayability with this inexpensive game (you need to get the expansion for the extra modes that will also earn you alternate moves for each character that you can use with all game modes). It's worth every cent

I literally bought this game because I wanted to rate it. Streets of Rage 4 is the game that was needed, this game is such a flipping masterpiece. I have played this game on Ps4, Ps5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If I had an Xbox, I would have even bought the game on there too. I don't really play mobile games, but I would buy it on there too, if I did play them. This game is peak. DO.NOT.SLEEP.ON.THIS! This game is my comfort game, it is not necessarily the best game I have played, as it is hard to say what is the best game I have played, but this game is my comfort game. It is the game that puts me through my ups and downs, it has made me feel more comfortable during covid in 2020, and the DLC - while not perfect - is very peak. There is so much I really want to say about this game, but this review would be long as hell, like if anyone came up to me and said "I wanna talk about Street sof Rage 4 with you" I would say "go grab a chair buddy, you are in for a LONGGGG CONVERSATION" ...I think. The combat, the music, the balance, the bosses, it's so amazing. Like this is a game where while other games may come and go in my life, this game will stay forever. I doubt I would ever let a year go buy where I don't play this game, no matter how much or how little. Wow, I really might be going off topic, but maybe not, but anyways, this game is peak, I am for real, you should play this game, you absolutely will not regret it. If I could combine all of the hours I have on every platform I have played this game on, I would probably have like nearly or slightly over 1000 hours. AND IT WILL STAY COUNTING !! PS Blaze is the best.
