For a game made in only one week, it's pretty fun. The gameplay loop is very short, being that its very hard to get a lot more than 10 points, but again, this is still pretty impressive for only being made in a week. The music and graphics are also very good, and you can basically run this on a potato which is also nice. In the circumstances this was made in, I would rate this a 8/10 and would definitely recommend this to play for a few minutes of your day, and to appreciate the people who worked on it. Some bugs/problems I had: The font is kind of hard to read, and the sound for when an item is clicked is a little too loud. There definitely should at least be volume sliders in the settings. I also noticed that when an escape pod is launched, sometimes the camera zooms into it and sometimes it doesn't. Also, whenever a 2p versus game is played, after it ends, the state of it never resets. In 2p timed, the game doesn't start until both players hit q and p at the same time, so I think that should've been mentioned in-game. Also, despite the text saying "Left Shift/Right Shift to fire" its always q/p.

Quite fun game built around a simple but solid concept. Take me back to more retro-style games such as asteroids. The music and attention to detail with things like slowing down time at certain points are really nice to see.
Game is simple but complete. A bit lacking in settings. Would like to see options for the background and slow down effects to be less jarring.
arcade game pilled
STRATAGEM, aktif olanları çarpışan yörüngelere göndermeden kaçış kapsüllerini başlatmanız gereken bir bilim kurgu arcade oyunudur.
I really enjoyed the game. It's simple by nature but I honestly like it. If I'm just trying to pass the time with a little challenge this game works great. It's got a simple arcade feel to it that I enjoy. Definitely worth playing.
Fun arcade game :))
"STRATAGEM" is truly incredible... someone found a way to underperform the first video game, 1962's SpaceWar! in 2024. The same year Black Myth Wukong and Baldur's Gate 3 came out. And this dumpster fire of a "game". What do you do in the game? This garbage ripoff of SpaceWar! is so bad the developer couldn't even work out how to do movement (or colour graphics... in 2024). Instead you're stationary and spin around and lob "escape pods" (and frankly when launching this game, escaping is definitely the first thing that comes to mind). Make sure they don't hit each other! What garbage. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Stratagem is very beautiful in its simplicity.
