I played the original a ton on my Game Boy Advance and this version a bunch on my old switch. It's such a great game. I love love love Harvest Moon (the company doesn't own the name anymore so they go by Story of Seasons now). I love how you can date any gender now regardless of what your own gender is. It's a very nice touch that I appreciate as a queer woman.
Każdy kto grał w Harvest Moon powinien się tu odnaleźć, gra przypomina mocno część Back to Nature, aczkolwiek są tu pewne zmiany, niektóre postaci się inaczej nazywają, inaczej wyglądają, dodane jest kilka nowych, są też inne - nowe eventy niż w klasycznym Harvest Moonie chociaż starych nie zabrakło. Dodatkowo gra jest uproszczona pod względem sterowania i niektórych mechanik, jak np. zarządzanie EQ. Są także nowe zwierzęta których nie było w klasycznym HM BTN. Ogólny klimat gry jak i sama rozgrywka mocno przypomina HM Back To Nature i polecam każdemu kto chciałby zagrać w grę z przed lat w nowym wydaniu.

I came from playing Back to Nature/Boy and Girl on PSP days and previously emulated it through PPSSPP. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town I would say is a remake of the other titular game on another console, but similar to Back to Nature/Boy and Girl none the less. It's really awesome, this remake takes the best of the worlds and added even a QoL: you can now water IN BETWEEN the crops. Granted, the design changes of the characters are... questionable and varied, at best. Some are really good for a change, but others I find lacking. However, it's quite understandable considering the divergence between Marvelous/Xseed and Natsume, so all fair fair.
It's exciting, makes you nostalgic playing Harvest Moon Back To Nature, and it's even cooler because there are additional updates for events in the game and there are additional types of livestock.
My caps-lock button in the keyboard is not working in the game, is there anyone else experiencing the same?
