STORY OF SEASONS: A Wonderful Life

I bought this game because it's nostalgic, I played the older version in PS2. That time I wasn't very good about the hybrid and crop fusion part. Now I understands them and tried to make All-Seasons with All Soil crops and hybrid them... Turns out their special perks doesn't bring over after harvesting the crops and turn them into seeds. Which kind of kills my planning, it doesn't feel satisfying as I wanted and I feel like quitting the game. My savefile is on year 4 and everything already feels redudant because you can't improve your character, you can't build or create something, everything is "designed" and you can't go above or beyond. You spouse kept talking about how the marriage was unbelievable some ♥♥♥♥ for the past 3 years together. Outside the farm sure there's cutscenes but no new events calendar. My only intention is my child that I can build his interest but I can't make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crops all-season all soil all S class with a talking plant I mean who the ♥♥♥♥ thinks plant won't evolve? Long ago, Banana isn't yellow, Watermelon taste like cucumber, Fruits nowadays gave diabetes due to farmers making them sweeter and this game that has Hybrid mechanic can't even do that ♥♥♥♥ because of... what? what? My only answer is: Devs is day dreaming of their own "Wonderful Life". This isn't your game, this isn't your farm, not your spouse, not your home, not your effort. The only thing that seems yours is your child if you spend time on them, but there's a better simulation game specific for this ♥♥♥♥ rather than you waste on time trying to improve your farm in meaningless way. I said meaningless because you think being rich is a farmer dream? dude people farms to survive or get away from modern world, the ♥♥♥♥♥ min-max money in farming games is a end game thing??? The redundancy is a prison, NOT LIFE. The only unique mechanic is the hybrid plant but you spoil them and gatekeep players for what? play again doing same ♥♥♥♥ over and over until year 7? CHANGE THE GAME, Story of Seasons franchise is so oldschool and too afraid of changes, kept reusing the OG Harvest Moon ideas because of corporate greed and make it 2-3 times expensive than previous game or other farming games in general. I definately will tell my friends never to buy Marvelous devs or Story of Seasons franchise because you're being robbed with fake "Wonderful Life".

I used to rent this game a lot as a kid back when it was on the game cube and got so excited when I got it for christmas. Wonderful Life was one of my favorite comfort games growing up. This version is just as good as the old version and sometimes even better with the improvement they've made. The name changes are a little weird and threw me off for a while along with the new look for the sheep and chickens and sometimes it's a pain to pick up the eggs but over I'm near the end of year 3 and loving this.

I do NOT recommend this game! [6/10] At first, it feels like your typical cozy farming game. Then you realize just how grindy everything is. You earn very little money, while buildings, tools, and upgrades cost a fortune. It can feel like you're constantly working just to make the smallest amount of progress. But that's just the surface of why I didn't enjoy it. As the years pass, you slowly realize you're trapped in this quiet, lonely village where everyone around you grows old and eventually dies. You spend your life building your farm, starting a family, and raising your child, only for your own character to suddenly pass away at the end, leaving your spouse and child behind. And if that wasn't depressing enough, you wake up afterward in what feels like a limbo version of this village. Everyone is alive again, but they're not really the same people anymore. They're more like echoes or mirrors of who they once were. To me, it felt like my character was trapped there forever with people who only looked familiar. I know a lot of people love this game for its message about the cycle of life, but it just left me feeling empty. I went in expecting a relaxing farming sim and came out with an existential crisis. If you're looking for something emotional and bittersweet, you might appreciate it. If you're looking for a cozy farming game to unwind with, this probably isn't it.

I used to play A Wonderful Life a lot when i was a kid, its one of my favorite games. Now in 2026 i play this game again and its bring back those good memories.

JOGASSO, se conseguir pegar em uma promoção pode comprar sem dó se você gosta de jogos nesse estilo de fazenda que nem stardew valley, se assim que nem eu você jogou ele no play 2 eu recomendo baixar o mod de textura que tem na nexusmod que deixa a paleta de cor igual a versão do play 2 já que nesse remake eles deixaram as cores mais vibrantes do que era

You guys have no idea how happy i am to be able to play A Wonderful Life on my PC!!! Was obsessed with this back on gamecube and its so cute & fun still!! best part is it runs good on my surface laptop! included my specs. The game plays easily and well on PC. Its easy to operate and play, the animals are so cute, esp the cows!!
