AMAZING
Game has a good story, and the game play of the first two episodes are clean and smooth. The third episode is awful to play. The fourth has a text-adventure section that is incredibly finicky, and frustrated me to my wits end.
A great game with flaws. The game itself is cool, creepy, atmospheric, and the mystery intrigues. four different stories, with puzzles in each you have to solve. The story itself is really good at first, although I'm not sure the fourth one really makes the game end well. My issues are that the typing games are just tedious. You have to phrase things JUST right, or else it won't understand what you want. It also doesn't always do the best job of pointing out what you need to do next. The second and third stories were fun, with cool gameplay that made it very interesting. Again though with the typing is not fun. Overall, a simple, cheap game that you can 100% in a few hours. I did find myself using a guide more than I should have needed to, but its a decent story and a game that isn't always bad.
This is one of the few games that you HAVE to play it in order to understand how it feels to play it
It's primarily a puzzle game where you solve problems using the keyboard and fill in missing text to advance a story of tragedy and drama, with subtle touches of horror. It lasts about three hours or less.
If you're reading this, yes you should play this. It is a bizarre experience in all the right ways and I cannot accurately describe it to anyone who hasn't played it outside of saying it is an experience that more people need to have, you will not regret buying it, I got it in the summer sale for 85p and I almost wish I had paid more.
Very cool concept, although I think the storyline could have been a notch better with the reveal. But overall great game!
i enjoyed it sooooooo much!!!!
Tense, well-written, and unnerving: for its short playtime, the unasuming "Stories Untold" packs quite the punch - featuring a power house of storytelling that (although probably unpopular to some) is well-designed, effective, and showcase of alternative game-making, that is always welcome in this medium.
Great atmosphere, horrible gameplay. You play through 3 unrelated short stories that form somewhat of a cohesive story with the final chapter. The parts where you type to a console are abysmal. The little puzzle are fine but you mostly feel greatful for not having the typing sections. At times the game can create chilling moments where you really feel on edge, then it makes you play the typing parts and all your excitement vanish as you question why you put yourself through all this. Get the game if you can grit through the boring parts which is most of the gameplay. It is a short ride so you won't suffer much. And take my advise and don't shy away from getting help when you are stuck, developers poor desing and implementation are not your fault.
