About

Stitched Together is an RPG adventure with a deep story, unique battle mechanics, world-defying stakes, and a whole extra dimension!
Take the role of Gwen Colgrave - an adventurous college student with a point to prove once she returns home. She'll stumble upon a bigger world with bigger consequences than she ever signed up for, but alongside her long-time friends, Gwen will have no choice but to save her world from being torn apart at the seams, no matter what, or who, stands in her way.
In Stitched Together, you'll progress through turn-based battles, all while leveling up, gaining experience, and growing your bonds to unlock new abilities! Explore Gwen's hometown of Flipside and many other places to meet plenty of wild and lovable characters, manipulate and transform the world around you, discover hidden secrets and collectibles, and learn more about the mysterious parallel world known as the Fabric!

Beyond the knowledge of most people, there lies a parallel world to our own called "The Fabric" - a perfect recreation of reality, where patchwork, textiles, and stitches build everything we know, from our towns and homes to the forests and plains of nature. Change something in the Fabric, and it changes in our world, and vice versa. With this knowledge, someone has been tearing apart the Fabric for an unknown purpose, causing both objects and events to simply disappear from reality. When Gwen and her friends learn of this disaster unfolding in the Fabric, they have no choice but to investigate the cause of the disappearances, and Gwen's unknown, unwilling connection to them.

Two Lived-In and Explorable Worlds
Gwen and her friends have the special ability to travel between the real world and the Fabric at any time, and so do you! These two worlds exist in tandem, and both hold their own individual secrets, civilizations, gameplay mechanics, and more! You'll need to master switching between worlds and using their mechanics to solve environmental puzzles and progress through locations!
Charming, Deep Characters and Stories
There's plenty to learn about Gwen, her friends, and the worlds of people and places around them! Through the party's Contacts, you can prioritize and influence the relationships of Gwen's friend group, learning about their friendships, relationships, experiences, and much more!
Engaging and Unique Battle Mechanics
Gwen and her friends rely on each other for success! With their Contacts, any two party members can team up and use abilities in battle that are unique to that pair, leading to dozens and dozens of unique Link Skills across fifteen unique collections of skills!

I've only just scratched the surface of this game, but my initial thoughts are: Really cute and I'm digging the Paper Mario vibe (2D characters in a 3D environment) Fun and easy to play. Standard RPG mechanics, but they serve the game well, and it honestly doesn't need tons of bells or whistles when the gameplay is solid. Great Voice Acting. So far every voiced character's VA has done an awesome job. Love to see it! My only real point of complaint/critique is the menu/UI. It's not BAD, but it's a little clunky. There's a button that brings up the phone, and I feel they really missed an opportunity (the devs) to have the phone be the main 'in-game' UI for everything. As it sits, you have to hit the start/pause button to access the equip and item menu. However, one odd bit (maybe I'm missing something?) is there's no true status/XP section anywhere, to see how close your character is to a level or anything. Other than that, this is a pretty solid game at the start, and I'm looking forward to continuing it!
I'm so glad to review this one because it's the first key I got thanks to my curator steam page, and I enjoy it a lot. Stitched Together is an adorable game, made with a lot of heart. It's a narrative rpg with homemade persona 4 vibes. Despite a bit rough artstyle, the game have a lot of charm and the music and voicing are pretty good. I got intrigued by the story also, the coming of age vibe really give an heartwarming feel despite some corny dialogue sometimes. Really a nice one that surprised me the good way. Beware it's controller only for now !
I really like this game's art for how bold and colorful it is. The conversations are down-to-earth. There's voice acting and I like it! The music is good too. I'm curious to know more about the VAs, but I unfortunately the credits are blocked until I complete the entire game. Bummer. As much as I like the art and the voice work, I'm not going to finish this. I've been progressing through the game slowly, so I'm only at the first dungeon. You'll probably get to where I am before you have as much playtime as me. I expected, given the presentation in the trailer, that the dungeon camera would be the typical kind of camera where it's over you and slightly behind you. The usual. No. The dungeon camera is mostly fixed. However, when you round a corner, the game instantly loads the new map. There's one spot where there's a large room. As I walk toward the camera, it will jump forward at certain points. The issue here is not that the movement is random, but the *sudden* nature of the movement. I feel like my eyes need to take a break. Combat is a bit disappointing so far. It feels like there's a delay between when I select to attack and when I can actually select to punch. I can't find how to know how much exp that my characters need. When they level, I see their new stats. Okay. How much did the stats increase by? I want to know! Also if you mash attack at the end of a fight, it'll for a second (at least for me using Proton) show the end of battle screen, then close it, then show it again. It's also a little too easy imo to mash past the end of a fight. A little delay, a "you win", then the gains. Those are, however, fixable. I'm really bummed the trailer didn't include the dungeon movement, that's my core issue. Some people might like that movement but I am, unfortunately, not among them. :(
I tried to record a video on it, but the static sound from characters speaking after around 10 minutes is too much, also I have to record the whole display as it doesn't work with Window or Game capture in OBS. The static happens with or without recording. (I will leave review as positive, I'm just leaving this review as a message to the devs)
I played about 10 minutes, and I really loved the art style — thank you. I’ll be adding videos about the game in different languages on my channel. This game really deserves to become more popular.
I do recommend this game, however I recommend waiting a while for it to cook a little longer before making your purchase. The art is fantastic, the music is a JAM and the combat is really fun! But, there are some technical issues that need addressing. A very distracting static noise builds the longer the characters are talking in a scene, only going away when changing the scene, but then beginning again. So, you get some really intolerable noise in longer dialogue. Some camera jank but not enough to harsh the experience. However, if you are capturing the game there is some finagling you have to do. The game runs its sound through a web preview, basically, so you'll have to use desktop audio, and window capture the game with a different setting than most. Looking forward to playing more of this, and sharing it with others as it has SO much potential! Will come back when it's had some time to be refined and update the review. <3
I recommend this game but with a current caveat: There's some kind of weird audio bug that happens in longer dialogue sequences. So far that has really been my only complaint so once it gets patched, total recommend. This game is so full of heart. I love the Paper Mario visual vibes and I've found myself pretty interested in where the story is taking us. I really like that learning new skills is done through a character development cutscene. The link skills bringing characters together for cutscenes was also really neat. The combat makes me laugh a lot with all the ridiculous attacks we get to use and the enemy names definitely had me chuckling. It would be nice to be able to specifically turn down the character voice lines in combat cuz they're a lil loud. Will update review when I fully finish the game :D

Ima gunna come of age so hard. A narrative driven game with lots of dialogue between the characters building a story, but something is wrong? Seems like a great weekender game if you want a light rpg with a lot of character driven dialogue. I recommend this if you want to listen to college kids talk to each other about not having ice cream sandwiches and dead moms.
