If you enjoy tactical shooters such as counterstrike, ready or not and rainbow six siege, this game will scratch that kind of itch. The top down view is definitely an adjustment, I won't lie. But it didn't take long before I got used to it, and really got fun when my men started getting more experience and better gear. Most players I've seen on youtube have their whole squad follow them in a conga line while they fight their own way through the map with their squadmates in tow. While they're playing a singleplayer top down, I learned to play mine like an RTS. I'd position my character in a spot where i can stay safe, while basically telling my mates where to go and position, and it was awesome how effective it is. Stacking them up, and then having them storm a room is always a treat to watch unfold. The game is very fun in that you want to keep seeing your men in action and pull off clever maneuvers, however I would love to see the following: - more equipment - let squadmates have more than one weapon - snipers - repair all button - hotkeys for the bottom bar commands - more character voice variety - in the future, perhaps a coop mode where each player controls a member of the squad for more tactical coordination overall, a very fun game with lots of potential, if you enjoy tactical shooters then i highly recommend giving this one a try, as you'll go in expecting 30 min of enjoyment, which will turn out to be at least 2 or 3 hours for a night.

Lots to love about this game. Reminds me of Ready or Not, Door Kickers and Police Stories. The squad management pretty fun and intuitive, your squad AI is really competent. The boss missions are the best parts, these are really memorable and challenging, with some great set pieces. As a small piece of feedback, while there is good mission variety, there can still be a bit of repetition. Enemy layouts change, so it is not a big issue. Overall a recommend from me, I had a good time with this one.
Basically this is like Police Stories + meta strategy layer of XCOM. The idea is good, and the ambitious is large. The problem is that things are not polished and ironed out yet. The quality of the game is far from "released", but more like the beginning of early access. One example is the teammate planning:

Each teammate can only receive one command at a time, and cannot queue up commands.
Cannot order teammate to move while facing a direction during his entire movement. It is possible to order teammate to face a direction when he ends his move, but it is impossible to order the teammate to face a direction from the start of his move.
One click to buy uniforms, without any confirmation. So you can easily waste your money simply wondering around the shop.
many more...
So, I'm not gonna lie, I was really close to returning this game. It gets annoying having your teammate AI be not very capable, having the vision cone so punishing, not really knowing how to confirm whether or not someone's a civilian (unless i haven't encountered one yet)... I literally quit the game and played doorkickers. The reason I didn't return it is because the direct control is a nice new touch, it has a lot of potential, and I think getting used to it will make it more enjoyable. So I'm gonna go out on a whim here and just hope it continues to get updates and improvements instead of getting $10 back. Worst case, it doesn't, and life goes on.

Status one is like a mount & blade but in a special forces setting. I have played simillar modes in Arma 3 but this game is far more engaging.
Buggy piece of mess. A Tier 3 AR cannot kill a handgun enemy and got killed instead with tier 3 armor and helmet. Pre-aimed the enemy and still get shot to death by a handgun at AR range.
A very good tactical game focusing on team planning and coordination. Lots of gadgets, weapons and a good progression system. + Good graphics. + Satisfying gun shooting. + Decent opportunities to maneuver companions. + Lots of interesting maps that can be passed in many ways. + A decent storyline. + Painful penalties for harming civilians, which forces the player to consider his every move. + Enemies that behave in a very intelligent way. + Imersive ambient and music. - The early game can be tedious by similar missions (this is compensated by the progress and achievements earned during the game).
The accuracy for your weapons is so unbelievably uncontrollable, you cannot take a step without your aim messing up. This makes any of the harder difficulty literally impossible, and with the hardest difficulty in the game having perma-death it gets super frustrating. I get that it's a harder difficulty and that its supposed to be hard, but this isn't escape from tarkov. Also, the gameplay gets super repetitive after going through the same maps over and over again, and if you play the harder difficulties, you won't even be playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, you'll be sitting in the menu seeing that "You are wounded" or even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying after taking a one handgun round after turning a corner because your character can't sprint, nor lean, or swap shoulders. I couldn't even tell if they was a way to see if I could level up or train my aim because I was too busy getting my ass beat and dying on the first few missions. Cool concept, has potential, bad execution. Wait for further updates.
Fantastic game , a perfect blend of tactics , planning and absolute mayhem once the doors are kicked in and the flash-bangs go off , its a tough game but it makes every successful mission all the more sweeter when you get back to base with no casualties , all the hostiles in handcuffs , and that all beautiful S rank .
