Played the free game way back when. Was a very good game to pass an hour or so every now and then. Bought this to more or less support the devs for all the time played. Much better stuff worth 10$, but good fun if you need multiplayer party games to fill out your library.

Sick game never played it
Very fun and chaotic couch party game. You control a very wobbly narwhal, trying to attack others with your tusk. Great to play a couple of rounds with friends. Plus you can customize your narwhal!
Great multiplayer game if you loved Joust growing up
This fun multiplayer game features quirky narwhals battling in chaotic arenas. Use unique abilities to push, shove, and outsmart opponents. Its humorous style and fast-paced gameplay make it perfect for party fun and competitive matches.
The two main questions for this game are: (1) Do you have a PC setup for local party games in your home? (2) Is this worth $12? On the first front, we are in an age where gaming is rarely set up in our homes to cater to easy party play. Rather than the couch and TV of the console, those who are looking at this on Steam are presumably considering it for more of a single-person gaming space. This game doesn't have online multiplayer, nor does even Steam remote play apparently work well (according to other reviews). If you have a Steam Deck or the like to play this game in a more public space of your home, and have friends who come over to your place, then this might be a fun little "nobody knows what they're doing and chaos ensues" kind of game. Otherwise, it's probably better to pass. Then there's the matter of the price. For the actual depth of the game - run around half-uncontrolled and try to hit other players' singular weak point - it just doesn't feel like something worth $12. Maybe $5 or $7, but 12 is just pushing it. Yes, there are a couple of modes for that gameplay loop, and a few different simple stage designs, but nothing complex enough or providing enough variety or depth to warrant the price. And on the topic of playing "half-uncontrolled", that's one of the biggest downsides to me personally (though others probably enjoy the "chaos" of it). Others have mentioned the ability to win "on luck alone" as a selling point, and it could be for a party game, but I personally prefer games where skill is more prominent. So those reasons are why I can't recommend the game. If it's on sale, especially if you have frequent get-togethers with friends to play Steam games, it might be worth picking up for you. But for me, and anyone else whose computer isn't terribly accessible when friends come over, you're better off looking at something else.
fantastic, fabulous, fkin amazing
