DONT BUY! SCAM!
Temperature bugs, infinite psycho breaks that can't be fixed, constantly getting bugged even attempting to brute force fix the problem. Nope. Waste of cash.
Abandonware at this point, similar to other Chucklefish games, like Starbound for example, don't buy
I feel since the devs come back that the game is worth the price and ive had fun with it! Not bad give it a go
Abandoned game :(

I really want to like this game. It looks great, and has all the mechanics of a great colony sim. However, the bugs just drive me crazy. Making metal to create hull material? Oops power went out and deleted the materials you were working with. No water? That's because the power kept going out and deleting the ice you were purifying. Power is an annoying issue because you get these eternal solar flares. The game says they eventually stop, but for me it just seems that when one ends another begins, and they all last from 2-0.5 hours meaning it's hardly worth generating more electricity because you'll just lose all your materials if you try to use any fabricators (as it takes longer than 2 hours to process materials; let alone generate power on top of that), so I have to shutdown the generators and then my colonist get's bored because he can't play his arcade games. Typically when this happens my colonist will get so bored that I can't afford to wait and have to leave the solar system There's another bug where when you're making a new room, it can make your entire base -33 million degrees or something. New enclosed areas are cold because space I guess, and I don't know how to warm them up if that's even possible. New rooms shouldn't even be cold as there's nothing in space to make it cold. If I make a new room it should be whatever temperature the air that is flowing into it from my old rooms would be. There isn't some 0 kelvin degree space particle that exists in space and makes stuff cold. It just doesn't make sense the void be cold in the first place, so this bug is just so annoying. I feel like the whole adding new rooms thing should be expanded too. There's no tutorial on it, the game's tutorial just tells you how to build a grill I think, so when it's time to build a new room you just kind of plop one on and sometimes it makes the entire base frigid other times idk. It makes sense to have a tutorial teaching us how to pressurize new rooms. That would be a much bigger issue than temperature in space. Some other little things just feel like the dev's need to playtest and fix this game up. Like you can't see colonist's health, but you can see their organ health (which is less useful as a colonist can be injured without any organ damage). Then when they heal, they will eat any food to heal. This means they will eat slop (failed recipes) and their moral will go way down. You can't regulate this besides micromanaging. This is another issue, having to watch things closely because you can never trust anything to go right. Micromanaging is just too stressful to make for a good game. I got this pink slime that produces orange goo which you need for tons of ♥♥♥♥, but it will eat my food occasionally and there's no cages in the game to put them in, or anything like that so I just find myself watching it hoping it doesn't eat anything good. Helmets provide infinite oxygen; anytime a colonist goes through a door their helmet refills, so even if your base has zero O2, they will be fine as long as they wander outside the base every once and a while. You can't pick up animals despite some of them having obviously need-to-be-moved-to-a-specific-location uses. Like you might find a yellow slime that charges nearby batteries, and you have to lure him over by moving items around him to create a maze basically. You can move things and the relocate instantly, so you can lure things over that way. I feel like this should just be a mechanic in the game that your colonists can do and not something you have to create out of other mechanics. Etc. I can't think of all of them right now
Conclusion
The game has a lot of fun mechanics, the map mechanics remind me of Starbound, and the game can be really cute. But I just feel like I've wasted my time when I could have been playing rimworld or something similar and created a base that wouldn't be undermined by the swarm of bugs that surrounds this game. I really want to enjoy this game, but right now I have to advice people to play something more functional and complete.
GLITCHY TO THE MAX!!!!!!! CANT EVERN GROW THE FIRST PERSON.
