So, here we have a game which I'm not that good at - as you can see in the video :// but I can tell that you that it's one of the game I actually liked! Considering the physics system it's using - you go faster the more you accelerate, the planets have their own gravity to pull you etc. - it's a good time spender where you have to calculate which way you want to move! I had some miss-tries and it's still a challenge since the systems change each level. You have got to learn which planet pulls more and which doesn't to get the rare "crystals" Enjoy! update on my review Great News. The Dev apparently have seen my review and added the music, larger projectiles and extra thrust that was so desperately needed. I don't know if they fixed the bugs or not. The new music is nice. Its only a partial music implementation (the menus and story are still lacking and there are only two songs) but this is a major improvement. Great work PS an Update post to show when the game is updated and a simple change long of at least the biggest feature changes would be nice. original review The game as a whole is ok. Content wise rather short but its a good foundation. There are a few things though that would help a lot with this game. 1 music currently there is no sounds other then the sound effects and it really reduces from the experience. I would recommend some by Kevin MacLeod especially in the album wonders. I think its public domain. 2 a little more power in our ship and a larger map to make up for it would be good. The fact that i cant navigate with enough agility to get the antimatter besides getting lucky is a problem. 3 the hit box for our projectiles should be larger as currently is is ridiculously hard to hit anything. 4 showing what the goal is more clearly would be good as i spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what i was supposed to do. Specifically explaining that i have to go in to the large circle to find our dog and go to green planets to find the antimatter would be good to know from the get go. explaining how to shoot and what the ammunition and health bars are would be good to. 5 lastly making the goal more rewarding would be good. perhaps i could earn points to unlock new ships or better yet upgrades to make my ship go from stranded how it is now, to the improvements i talked about. Bugs 1 when the timer ran out for some reason it opened the audio menu instead of the you failed menu and after closing the audio menu i was stuck and had to close the game. This only happened once of the few times i ran out of time though. 2 after playing the story form the main menu while i was on level 3 the game did not return me to the main menu and i was stuck on a black screen. Reopening resolved this. Feature ideas. It would be cool if when our dog is talking to us in the story that we see his expretions animated kind of like the way slime rancher does conversations where the image changes once every few lines. BTW nice dog art. it single-handedly made me notice this game. 👍
My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on Stellar Stroll and it gets 350 likes and 150 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka . So I'm just gonna leave this here.
i mean its free but it's also not very good

"Stellar Stroll" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Asteroids (Copyright Atari Inc, 1979). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Stellar Stroll" is considerably worse than Asteroids. The game here, such as it is, is of a pretty low technical standard. The implementation is basic and comes across as threadbare, more like a 'weekend project' rather than a commercial release. An experimental piece... and the experiment is "can I spend $100 on Steam Direct and then call myself a game dev?" While that $100 spend on Steam Direct probably made the developers feel good about themselves, we have to ask why this kind of thing is good for gamers. There's a minor "plot" tacked on... something about a spacefaring dog, and a couple of additional mechanics like docking and so on, but at the end of the day this is just a poor ripoff of Atari's Asteroids copyright and offers nothing new or interesting to gamers. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2025. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.
Handle sucks, aiming sucks, enemy design sucks
