Stargaze

I do not recommand the game because it is very frustrating. I will still leave a positive review to the game because the concept is original and probably not so easy to create. It's often hard to find the good angle even when you know what you want to do. Also i HATED the river part, soo anoying. Also I almost missed the end because it wouldn't trigger. I had to restart the game so the text about an other mystored get displayed, then had to spend a lots of time triggering the end, even if I knew what I had to do. Took 2 hours to finish.

This is fun. I enjoyed it. There is no way it is worth £16 though. I got it on sale for £6. I had a reasonably enjoyable experience that lasted just under 2 hours.

Stargaze is a fantastic game and even tells a stellar story. The player solves unique puzzles while exploring several planets. The puzzles are closely related to the type of planet the player is currently on. Each of the planets is completely different, inhabited by different creatures hiding their secrets. The planets are beautiful and unusual. The creators of the game have created a wonderful world in which you can stay enjoying its beauty. The puzzles are interesting and philosophical. The beauty of the graphics in Stargaze is captivating. Colorful, high-quality artwork, or rather painting, is an incredible asset of the game. The artistic value of the game is not only the visual layer, but also the sound. The music in Stargaze is exceptionally beautiful and fits the character of the game. Very intriguing is the voice of the narrator leading the player through all the planets. Some unanswered questions ending the game suggest in my opinion that the authors will create a sequel to this beautiful game. And if that happened, I think the team that produced Stargaze will make an equally great game and fix some technical imperfections in the process.

Get it on sale for a short, chill puzzle experience. It doesn't really do it for me since the mechanics are not that deep, but it's really well made and perfect for showing your friend what VR can be about.

Less than 2 hours of actual game play (for me). My game time shows higher as the game locked up due to me taking my VR headset off and having to redo the first three planets. Note: the save game happens when you go back to the main menu and doesn't have auto-save along the way. Most of the puzzles are fairly easy and if not, it is easy enough to stumble across the solution just by moving the screen around until something happens. I was only frustrated once on the water ring planet trying to get the vase(?) around the water stream and it kept breaking. Other than that, I enjoyed solving the puzzles and taking the pictures. Note: some pictures can't be taken until the planet is restored. Also note, that make sure you use the quill to take the text from the top of the screen and place it in the journal. I missed two entries not paying attention to that. To me, the only negatives are the short game time and the narrator voice can be a bit annoying. I got it on good sale, and I enjoyed it for the price I paid.

hidden gem

Lo mejor del juego es el aspecto visual, es muy bonito. Tiene puzzles simples y entretenidos. En ocasiones, los controles pueden ser un poco farragosos.

Promising game marred by tricky and fiddly controls. After a half hour of playing it on my Quest 3 I exited and it didn't save it and wanted me to repeat the whole opening tutorial which is where I bowed out. It's also annoying that you are rooted in one spot and cant just flip your thumbstick to change the direction you're facing. I want to be able to see what is behind me when I'm sitting on the sofa even if there is just a wall there. The game wasn't for me, though I liked the idea. It just needed more work so the controls would feel more fluid.

Not really great game for VR. Puzzles that require you to place patterns (signal matching) on each other almost pixel-perfectly just dont work. Maybe it would be better as just non-vr puzzle game.

Bug! Il gioco di per sè è un puzzle game dalle meccaniche originali, che si svolge attraverso l'uso di un telescopio. L'atmosfera è piacevole e rilassante ed anche se i controlli sono un po' scomodi per la VR (viene richiesta un'alta precisione con delle manovre imprecise), l'idea è buona. Tuttavia devo assolutamente bocciare il gioco dato che dopo essere arrivato a metà, il giorno seguente, il mio salvataggio era stato cancellato. Questo bug è stato segnalato nel 2022 e ad oggi non è ancora stato risolto, dato che gli sviluppatori si erano ormai dedicati ad altro. Probabilmente in 3 ore dovreste riuscire a finire il gioco, evitando quindi il problema, ma al momento non ho nessuna voglia di rifare tutto!
