Edit: This dev got on it super quick and redid apparently a bunch of stuff afyer learning about the issues so I'm switching this to recommend. If you bought this please try the new updates and post a review because this is a great strategy game presuming performance is good which has apparently been fixed. The game mechanics themselves are pretty cool but with an i7 6700k + 1080 it never got about maybe 65 fps even with no super sampling and they have a placeholder settings menu button but it isn't clickable so can't adjust in game graphics. Will reconsider my refund and buy again if they ever fix performance.
It is similar to the well-known and simple Lazerbait or the more opulent Orch Star. As usual in such games we have full control and free movement within our fleet. The primary goal of Starblazer's 1vs1 combat is to destroy the other side's flagship. Players only need to worry about the micro-management of their units instead of dealing with additional stress factors like resource management, technology trees and/or base building. In Starblazer, the action is immediate. With a fleet-building system that allows players to customize the composition of their fleets, it's less important to add new units to a mid-battle battle than to get the most out of the fleet. Nevertheless, it is still possible to provide supplies during the battle. However, players cannot produce more than one unit, and each unit takes a different amount of time to complete. There are different units that can be built, e.g. the "Spectre" which has the ability to hide other units, the "Medic" which can heal units, and the "Bruiser" which deals massive melee damage when it rams enemy fighters out of the way. The control is very simple and works with both the Vive-Walls and the Index Controllers. The player uses the controller to select ships and to choose where to move them. Or to attack directly. Unfortunately only waypoints can be set on objects, walls or ceilings. There is no way to select a point in three-dimensional space. The only way to move a ship is to select it and then set a point to which it can fly. This type of control is simple but time consuming. In Starblazer VR there is a demo room where you can try out all ships and controls, this gives a good overview of the fleet's capabilities. Then there is the fleet room, where you can place a certain number of units with which you want to fight the battles. The placement is a bit choppy, you place the unit by opening a menu on your wrist. Sometimes you choose something wrong or the menu does not appear. After building a fleet you go into the warroom where you can see several consoles for PvP and customization options. Unfortunately, once again there are no players without an appointment. Here you can also play against bots in the difficulty levels easy, medium, difficult and hard. It's fun to play Starblazer. The game is not too fast, so that even newcomers to the genre or VR novices don't lose their orientation in the fighting turmoil so quickly. In the Sale it is certainly worth a look. This is an Early Access review for Starblaze, which is made by a small team of 2 people. It's currently available on the Steam store for $20 and supports the HTC Vive. Right away you can tell a lot of love has went into this game. It has a lot of cool things in it that make it special and endearing. The Demo room, Fleet Builder and War rooms are all well done and fun to interact with. The ships are well designed and easy to learn about. However the core game play is in the battles and that is where it's lacking. I noticed right away during my first battle that my frame rate dropped and I started to feel sick. I got use to it but I could not of done another battles after that one. It's nice to be in the middle of the battlefield commanding and controlling the ships but it's hard to manage and figure out what all is going on most of the time. When you group ships together some seem to work and others just follow. I am not sure if this was my mistake or a bug. Online play and player profiles are not in yet, but without fixing the battles it's not going to matter. I love what Starblaze offers before the battles begin and I hope they can get some fixes in to resolve the frame rate issue. I also think right now a $10 price point is more on par with what the game offers. I am going to give this one a recommend because the Devs have been responsive and I think they can get the frame rate issue fixed. Had to refund due to poor performance and even worse controls. interesting idea, bad implementation.
If you own a VR headset and are a fan of RTS games you definitely need to be checking this game out! The developers are very active with their community and are great at keeping everyone updated on things to come and what is being worked on currently with the game. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this game!

The gameplay is a first for VR, (I've played Final Assault), i prefer the graphical style/setting/80s vibe in this game. The gameplay/artstyle are the reason you won't want to take your headset off. From the funky soundtrack, to the Starcraft style gameplay, Starblazer is a game where your RTS skills will be tested in a new way that is only possible in VR. This game has many memorable moments for the small entry fee. For instance, small enviromental easter eggs that you can interact within your ships command center (i.e. The squid). If you have been looking for a new strategy game than this is your game. From the loading screens 80's space vibe, Starblazer makes the RTS genre once more.
The devs of the game were kind enough to share a copy of the game to try and demonstrate its current form on stream not too long ago, and here are my thoughts regarding the game. For what is present, it's already a very fun game. The controls take a little bit to get used to and sometimes can be a bit over-sensitive in the heat of battle when it comes to targeting precise ships that you want to move, but nothing beats that rush of the fact that you are IN the battle going on all around you. You get to be right there to point at an exact location or ship and say "go after this one" and see, right before your eyes, everything play out as you go. Starblazer takes the need to be fully aware of the entire battlefield when it comes to RTS games to a whole new level as you don't rely on a camera to see, but your own physical awareness around you. While the online multiplayer PvP is not implemented at the time of this review's writing, I can totally see a strategy of trying to distract your opponent while sneaking by other ships (even without the ship that literally makes thing near it invisible) behind where you imagine they're looking. The game has crisp graphics, the ship designs/functionalities are familiar concepts yet novel in their own way, and the devs are constantly talking about their current design philosophies while asking the community what else they want to see and actively taking those ideas to run with. That last detail is by far my favorite thing about this game and finding it so early in development, they want this to be a game that is shaped by and for the community that plays it. I'm definitely looking forward to future updates where some of the community's ideas begin to take form, just as I am to see the rest of what the game has to offer. Two more difficulties await for player vs computer, more maps with unique world-based strategies, and, as mentioned, the PvP mode. Long story short, if you are a fan of RTS games and own VR, you are probably going to want to keep an eye on this game as it progresses through development. It's an entirely unique experience that I haven't seen in a similar nature (or at least one that works and feels fluid) in any other VR game, and what I played was only scratching the surface of what the full game will be like.
[b]VR Cihazıyla oynayabileceğiniz bu oyunda; kendinizi, gerçek zamanlı stratejik hava savaşlarının içerisinde bulabilirsiniz. 3d space strategy in a 3d space, thanks to VR. Takes some getting used to - can feel quite challenging. A few different modes, different ships and a robo helper that shames you when you fail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXjfVch5G_0
