Star Wars™ Pinball VR

G2 Reverb, i7-8700K, GTX-1080TI-OC, Win10. VR Controller werden nicht erkannt, auch nicht nach Umstellung in Steam Optionen. Von drei getesteten Gamepads funktioniert nur eines - manchmal, nicht immer. Ansonsten werden auch Gamepads nicht oder nicht zuverlässig erkannt. Manchmal startet das Spiel ohne Sound. In jedem Falle stürzt das Spiel nach ca.2-3 Minuten ab. Oftmals sogar noch im Raum-Menü, noch bevor man einen Tisch gestartet hat Und nein, das System ist es höchstwahrscheinlich nicht, ich spiele zahlreiche VR Spiele und Simulatoren, davon einige sehr hardware-anspruchsvolle: problemlos. Pinball FX 2 VR funktioniert ebenfalls problemlos. Refunded.

Played on PSVR2 (with PC adapter), a 3080 GPU, and an xbox game controller. I was a bit apprehensive about even trying this game as so many people have complained about technical issues but I like the other Pinball FX games so decided to take the chance. It took me a while to get this up and running without issues, but having now got there I think it's definitely worth what I paid for it (around £11 [sale price]). To get everything working I did the following: - In steam's Controller settings, I disabled "Steam Input" (that's probably the most crucial game setting). After making this change, the xbox controller worked perfectly. - I also set the VR game resolution to 240% (100% is fine but the game is much clearer if your GPU has enough grunt to super-sample). The second time I launched the game I lost all audio. Had to restart Steam VR to fix this but it's not happened since. The tables I have tried so far are as good as any I've played in the other Pinball FX games. Admittedly I've not had time to try them all yet but if my opinions change I'll update the review. Anyway with the Steam Input setting changed the game now seems very stable/solid. Definitely recommended - especially if you like the other Pinball FX games.

The other Zen Studios PInball VR game works great on my Meta Quest 2. This one I can't get to work with the meta quest controllers or my steam controller. In the forums it looks like people are getting it to work with xbox controllers, but I don't have one of those. I've checked allow comments. I've returned this game but I would rebuy it if it gets updated. If it does, please comment and tell me.

great game.. only negative is that it has to use a controller (not the vr controller..! ? )

Stop listening to the tantrum-mongers! :) This is a great game! If you have doubt, buy it for half price! If your controller doesn't work, set it in the game settings! If you don't have a ps controller buy one! Unless you want to break your Index controller! Because it is not powerful enough for pinball games!!! /I broke mine/
